This has been in my head lately for the few past months.
Why does it feel like doing art for others is a chore?
Why can't I work on my own pace?
I don't like doing them. I do them anyway so I could get points and art of my characters. I like drawing them and that the people like my drawing of their OCs that's great but deep inside it just pains me that I feel like I have to be very hard on myself in order to "apply myself".
Especially if someone gives me a complex character to do.. Even then, a lot of the art I did for others look "suspicious" and "half-assed". What's even worse that I feel more comfortable doing art for my friends rather than strangers on the internet.
If I feel like I can't do it. I have to do it.
I won't stop doing art for others forever but I might either postpone them or refund people that have commissioned me and haven't started yet.
Commissions and art trades will still remain open but I will limit myself even further. Which means you can't ask me more than 3-4 commissions at a time. If the 3 commissions are done then yes you can ask me more. I'm gonna put more restrictions on what type of characters I will be drawing and what types I won't and you can't ask me or give me a deadline. I will do the work for that myself. Which is usually a week, 2-3 days, or a month.
I will work on the art trade I have and the commissions I currently have... uhh..
If I feel like I can't do the character you will be refunded or asked for a different character. This might not effect art games and artfight however. I literally just feel like I'm an attention whore for just typing this.

Should I revive my old characters?
I have this folder but it doesn't have all the old characters though.
I have very old characters that were created by me on 2008-2011 but they are not listed in my TH
However I won't give away those; even if they are "cringey" they will always hold a special place in my heart and treasure them even if I don't use them anymore.
My old fursonas Leafpool and Rainbowstripe and so on will always have a place for them

Don't always expect a shaded fullbody or a fullbody in general.
Also don't expect my half to be always digital.
I'm more comfortable drawing anthros and especially ferals! I can draw humanoids/humans but I'm not comfortable drawing them yet.
I can draw fetish art as well (Ask me what fetishes I will draw although no scat plz) but these will be uploaded to a future fetish art account of mine.
If I accept your art trade, I will link you a character of mine that I want you to draw or I will tell you if you can pick.
Please no complicated characters.
