I did want to make at least one adoptable for halloween TwT
But man am I rusty when it comes to designing in chibi form and I trashed nearly all the ideas that I had

I didn't want it to be outright Halloween so theres good use of the design all year round but sheesh its hard

I love colourblocking lately so I did want a somewhat clear cut between white and red.
Pattern on his jacket should be round bubbly corals but also look a bit like bloodsplatters

He's a dragon who usually lives quite deep down, no sun exposure means no pigment for his skin. He's so pale, a little translucent even, making his veins show through in certain light settings.

I've been spreading myself thin with work, worldbuilding my own world, illustrating and designing for myself. (Maybe making merch for conventions???)

Adoptables somewhat fizzled out for me because I didn't enjoy being stuck with chibi designs, but know that with the current situation, buying fullbody designs just isn't possible for many- especially with the amount of details I love to give designs

In a way I'm wondering if I should make very few fullbody designs in the future, but do them well with many additions and a high price?
or make a few chibis just for the people who might want a design from me?

Another solution would be to just add a design spot to my commissions, one where its an easter egg design for a lower price, and one which would be a custom design.

What do you think? Or are you also oversaturated with babies to the point where you'd rather commission for additional artworks rather than designs?

I just wanted to make a bulletin that I'm changing my name from xminxicat to Rune_ko to escape the name my middle school self picked for me AHAHA
It's just the middle part of my name and surname, but thanks to a friend, they made it so it sounds nicer and make sense by extrending the "rune" part but also lets me keep the "cat" part!

So you can all keep calling me Cat if you'd like, or Rune too from now on!
Another reason why I needed a namechange is that I want to branch out to maybe tumblr, to upload illustrations and fanstuff for Genshin/Starrail/whatever I'm into
and doing that before changing my name would just be unnecessary complicated ^^

It's been a long while since I last posted. Hope everyones doing well!

I've since finished my bachelor's thesis and got a good grade on it. I'm currently looking for work but sheesh the job market for Art Jobs is rough. Ive had a few offers but they'd all require me to move completely and indefinitely and I'm not so sure about that, especially outside my country :/ 

Also I wanted to make other social media profiles that are more random design/ fanart related but I keep on struggling with usernames. I had this username for the longest time but it's just not doing it for me anymore. I want something artsy that describes me well but can't think of anything nice that could also be used in a professional setting--...my instagram is just my name now but that just feels uncreative.
Anyone got any tips on finding the right username for art stuff?

Either way since I've got some more time and I'm somewhat burned out from other projects I wanted to make an Adoptable again ^^
They're based on a White Ghost Cicada! I really like how they turned out but I can't keep on keeping designs haha so I thought I'll see if someone's interested.
I do hope you like this design. If I can I'll most likely stick to fullbody art. While I love chibis it's hard to nicely display a whole design on a chibi body.
