Hello! I notice you have a mishipeshu character. I am ojibwa and also have a mishipeshu OC! :D would you be permissive of me drawing/painting our two mishipeshu together in one scene? Storytelling/lore wise; My mishipeshu OC has never met another of their species. I obvs am not hoping to charge you; think of the art piece as a gift? if youre interested.

That’s really cool! I mainly made my character as I love the mythical creatures a lot. I mainly wanted to capture the design by mixing real life animals from North America with fantasty elements, so there is no set story for Nipi in mind. I love the idea of them in a scene together so I’m happy for you to draw them! I’d also love to draw your mishipeshu character (I love their design!) as a form of art trade! Would that be alright with you?（╹◡╹）

Thank you for appreciating Nipi! I'm very pleased with how they came out in the design, just no plans for their development yet. Mishipeshu are one of my favourite water creatures as every culture seems to have a mythical water creature of some kind. They're similar to the Australian Bunyip and the Aztec Ahuizotl just more feline and lesser known. I love a lot of Native American mythologies though I'm never too sure how to represent it sometimes as I know some aspects can seem insensitive which I will respect. I'm not sure if that's the case with Mishipeshu and Ojibweg (correct me if I'm wrong!) but it can be with other Indigenous groups.
I'm currently sketching Madweige as we speak so I'll DM you the full drawing when I've finished! (◕‿◕)
