Palette is his best friend. Harvey knew Palette for some time before he finally transformed him into an esk. In life, Palette was a senile old man who would wander away from his nursing home into a nearby field to sit and paint the landscape. Beacon was an unlikely student. Ghost played a part in his transformation, bringing him to Aevre to be saved. For that, Aevre tasked Ghost with being his mentor. At first he was reluctant, but the young esk grew on him. He finds it difficult to express his feelings towards him, though.
