It's my Birthday today! To celebrate today my dad, stepmom, and I are going to drive about an hour each way to one of our favorite buffets for lunch. The best part of this buffet is that if a customer is having their birthday on the day they're present that customer gets to eat for free! So it's something I'm looking forward to. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and if you're going to celebrate Cinco De Mayo celebrate safely!

I don't plan on doing anything special on my birthday again this year. I was going to see my grandmother on the 7th of this month but given that she has the stomach bug going around that visit is being postponed. But if anyone wants to give me any birthday art it would be so very much appreciated. I'm turning even older this year and not looking forward to that aspect. But there are other aspects like my birthday meal and eventually getting to see my grandmother. There's no saying what day my birthday meal will fall upon given how different the schedules are of everyone who are going to attend it. Overall despite turning even older this year I'm still looking forward to my birthday.

I've been suffering from migraines for most of my adult life. They were under control for awhile but they've come back again. Also my preciously sweet catto Buttercup had a mild stroke last Monday. Buttercup is doing well now but the rest of the family and I are keeping an eye on her just in case. My dad and step mom had to wait a long time for Buttercup to be seen by the vet given how many emergency cases had come in that day. The vet said that he believes the cause of Buttercup's mild stroke is her starting to get on in her years. She will be turning 14 years old this year. My dad and step mom have the bill from the vet office already paid for and taken care of which is something I'm grateful for given my limited income. I'm not asking for pity or sympathy. I'm only putting out in the open as to why I will not be operating at 100% until; I'm feeling better.
