Docksen

Docksen

Docksen are equine-like creatures that seem equal parts deer and wolf and can live upwards of twenty-five years. There are five known breeds: aquatic, fyrinic, ilban, nymthic, and skyloric. Aquatic docksen have transparent fins spread across their bodies and lengthened hooves in order to help them swim. Fyrinic docksen have larger horns, feathering around their feet, and a flame-like "lamp" on the tips of their tails. Ilban docksen are the most common breed, with no special traits to speak of. Nympthic docksen have six legs and two tails; the function of the extra limbs are currently unknown although are suspected to help their running speed and increase intimidation. Skyloric docksen have large broad wings that enable them to glide short distances. However, their bones are more brittle which makes them unsuitable for riding or work. They are a dead species.
