I watched the Green Knight because I knew you were really into it - twas fantastic, truly
(given, the night I watched it I was hella confused although I enjoyed it but the morning after I couldn’t stop thinking about it and putting puzzle pieces together to make sense of the movie)
i was curious, your taste in media seems really unique and cool, do you have more recommendations to medias, books and movies you like?
Thank you !! 🥺🥺🥺🥺 I don’t think it’s that unique I just like gay medieval and/or edgy stuff mahsjsnmdnw if the story doesn’t have a dark theme or undertone idc
But some other media I really like and 1OO% recommend is any manga by Urasawa (Monster and Pluto are my favs but they’re all super good), The Once and Future King by TH White is a phenomenal book I cant wait to reread it (though it was written in the early 19OOs and there’s some slurs, just a warning), I like both of Jorhn Erskine’s Arthurian books (Galahad enough of his life to explain his reputation, and his book Tristan and Isolde restoring Palamede) and ofc right now I’m obsessed with the video game Pentiment 12/1O reccomend, other video games I love is anything Kirby, Hades, The Binding of Isaac, Shovel Knight, and Hollow Knight
I’m realizing now I don’t consume a lot of fictional story media outside of playing the same video games over and over again KSHAMHSKAJSJA a lot of what I read is essays on Arthurian mythos or art books 😭😭😭😭 there’s other stories I love as well but due to their subject matter I’m really careful who I recommend those to

if you use procreate instead of CSP or photoshop I’ve managed to get close in that program but it’s not as gritty

Good luck getting through Malory 🫡 it’s a great starting point when getting into Arthurian legends imo but reading Le Morte d’Arthur is so hard for me ajhdjshdhs it’s easier when you get a version with modern grammar/what all lol

I already listen to the soundtrack so I know the music is good, but it’s SO much better hearing it in game ARGHH I love it 😭 I usually am not a fan of level clearing/fighting games, but this is so freaking fun and satisfying EEE
