Liaoji Shiji, the Lifeblossom

The last creation I had a direct hand in, I'm particularly proud of her. I feel as though I got everything just right, which... was very important to me, as nothing should be more sacred to mortals than joy. To push through all that life brings, to struggle and survive, all so that they may experience joy and peace... of all my children, she may well be the most important of them all. She most certainly acts the youngest, so full of life and energy.. but it does not stop her from understanding the great import of her existence and treating all things with the utmost respect, for the happiness of all.
Mwlysia, Sage of Joy
Liaoji Shiji, the Lifeblossom

I learned from my mistakes. Though... perhaps I went a little bit overboard. She is not overfilled with her embodiment, nor is she physically inhibited by it, nor by hasty creation. However... she still leans somewhat too into her role of passion. She has learned to use the powers bestowed upon her in ways I never thought possible, ways that worry me. While I do not question her tenacity, nor her commitment to her role, what she has chosen to express those two facets through fills me with dread for what I see as an inevitable outcome...
Swri, The Sage of Passion

Mother... what that all could understand her grace as we do. A mighty undertaking she has wrought upon herself, selfless to the last, simply wanting those she creates to be happy. But it is not by man's own hand that this will be achieved. Man is ever wanting more, be it from nature, be it from space, be it from one another. They will do anything to get it, even if it means destroying themselves in the process. They are but a flock, needing to be led by a shepherd to truly understand what it means to be free, to be happy, to have no desires. Through hardship we understand life's joys, but if those hardships ARE one's joys, then it must be burned, ripped out by the roots, lest it spread and fester. In her name do we march, in her name do we conquer, such that all may know the true purpose for why they have been brought into this life.
Liaoji Shiji, the Lifeblossom

A mistake of Over-eagerness. I cannot help but grieve for their existence, for it was never intended to be in the form it is. They should have been so much more, and yet they were not. I brought them to life far too soon, with far too little. Though their physical tenacity was a sight to behold, creating that which I did not, I feared for the worst. Those fears came to fruition, as I did not have the chance to inform Arwdia that a new being had been created, and she reacted... less than positively to such a frightening visage. Though nought besides a moment of panic and fear arose, it was enough to scar the poor creature, forever shaping who they are. I have not the heart to tell them, nor anyone else, about the mistakes I have made in regards to their creation.
Pdyrw, The Sage of Fear

Mother... I have attempted to understand why she made me what I am. I am sure she had reason, that I had purpose, but I have yet to understand it. What that I could ask her myself, but that is not a luxury I have. Was I always intended... to be fearful? To shy from all that is, to reside in the darkest corners? To my understanding, we all exist to embody something, so one being fearful was always going to happen, but... did she truly need to create a visage so terrifying that it inspires it in others? I loathe this form, bound as I am to it. Perhaps one day, when we are reunited, I may ask for a new body, one to hide... myself, away from the world in, a shell comprised of more than oak, a body of more than just eyes and strings, a puppeteer no longer...
Liaoji Shiji, the Lifeblossom

An accident, but a welcome one. Her inadvertent creation was a testament to 2 things: The power I had left unchecked within, and of my love for that which I had created. Born of my fervent desire to see my creations succeed, and my love for them and all that they are, she is a strange one. She is not an unwelcome presence, as she spends a lot of her time ferrying messages between me and Arwdia, though I cannot help but wonder whether she does so out of willingness, or out of obligation? I have been meaning to ask her whether she has dreams, aspirations of her own, but... during such a turbulent time, I cannot risk losing contact with my beloved child. Not when she needs me the most.
Yd'slihtir, Love Incarnate

Mom! I don't remember where I came from, or how I came to be, but I know that it was because of her. I can hear the whispers of her heart, such turmoil and pain should rightly belong to nobody. From what I can gather, her other creations are unable to speak to or visit her directly, only being able to with powerful magic. But me? I can go to and fro as I please! Knowing what I do of how she feels, how she hurts and how she longs for the happiness of others... it is my duty to do what I can to ease that pain, even if it is something as simple as couriering messages back and forth.
Liaoji Shiji, the Lifeblossom

The first mortal creation! She is like a daughter to me, perhaps the closest I will ever come to one. I created her with the hope of kickstarting life in the brand new version of reality, to emulate that which I saw during my time before it all disappeared. With that in mind, I imbued her with the very same hope I carried, thus was the embodiment of hope born, alongside ideas for more. Irradia, namely Chronicia, wasn't too happy that creating her caused the tree of time to branch, but... you can't make a omelettes without cracking a few eggs, especially when working on a monumental scale such as this.
Arwdia, The sage of Hope

My Mother! Apparently me being made caused a lot of problems, but I know that it isn't my fault. How could it be, when I was not alive to make the decision to live? A great weight has been placed upon my shoulders, and I have carried it to the best of my abilities. From what she has told me, it is in the very nature of mortal civilisations to destroy themselves, but... I cannot help but feel we have failed her for allowing the fall of the first world. But a chance shines through, for one of their people remains and holds in her heart the hope for it to be reborn. We cannot allow this hope to be extinguished, for only then will they truly be lost.
Liaoji Shiji, the Lifeblossom

My first ever creation, and how well it turned out! ...I learned a lot from their creation, namely how to ensure they remain stable. It was lucky that their instability only created more entities, rather than something... unpleasant. The moments that they are around are a joy, though I do wish those moments were more often. It seems like nowadays, they only ever exist to solve a problem, before splitting back up. Perhaps I could initiate some reconciliation counselling between the three parts...
Irradia, The God of Physics

My Creator, apparently I was the first? I've asked her numerous times how and why she made me, but I tend to just get back phrases meaning 'another time'. Even looking into the past yields nothing, as it seems time was a jumbled mess before I arrived. Questions upon questions arise in my minds whenever I ask anything, so I've decided to stop doing that until she's ready to tell me herself.
Yd'Ouzheth Ucnathrair

The first oddity. The being that sparked my very existence, strangely enough. One being, yet three at the same time. While they are aligned with those of the Gods, and not too fond of me and mine, the unusual circumstances that surround their true, and split, forms are always good for thought experiments and theorycrafting. While I may never truly understand, it will forever remain a good mental exercise, and the questions irritate them to no end, which is rather a bonus.
Irradia (Prime)
Sylver Nezoomie

My Beloved. I see much of my siblings in Mitra, for better or for worse. It is what drew me to her in the first place, and what convinced me to want to spend eternity with her. I feel great shame in having broken the promise I made to her upon our wedding day, but fate has seen it fit to grant me another chance, one I do not intend to waste.
Mitra Everthorn

The love of my life. We promised to spend our lives together, and... through strange and confusing means, we've been given a second chance at fulfilling that. She was always so protective, but I never imagined that what happened could have. That we are together again is a blessing, for so long as we stand together, our people live on.
Eliza

My creator! Bekkie is very kind and considerate towards me and all of my kind. She gets rather emotional at times, but she has assured me very often that it is nothing to worry about. when I had overheard the news at the radio at the pier about an Oolexian arriving on Arkadia, I thought it too good to be true that i might meet one of my progenitors again. To learn that it would be my creator herself almost overloaded my shock algorithms! She seems very happy here, for which I am glad, but i can tell that she is upset over how we have been treated during our time here. I hope, for her sake and for all of my kin, that she can make change...
Bekkie Nezoomie

My first, and greatest, creation. I love Eliza like a daughter, so many fond memories have we shared together. It was with a heavy heart that I agreed to allow her on the expedition to Arkadia, and learning of her fate broke my heart. It was her tale that forced my hand into such heavy dealings to secure the future of the Mechanthi, such that no other child of mine has to suffer the way she did. What that I could do more for her...
Sylver Nezoomie

Where to begin... I knew him well during my time on Origus, as one of my duties was to communicate and coordinate provisions to the north. He was always so cheery and polite, you would never expect him to be a king, nor to have such a harsh face as he did. I cannot help but wonder what became of him... I recall him mentioning being special once upon a time, that he would never melt and thus could not accurately describe the feelings of his kin and children, for he would never know the fear of death that they did. If that were to hold true, does he still remain in the far north..?
Breniiâ, The Desolate King

A fine young woman who once had a bright future awaiting her. I remember the conversations we had fondly, for she knew nought of my people before our first meeting! It was my pleasure to teach her of who we are and what it is we do, though it broke my heart to hear that she had been killed. I was told she gave her life in defence of her younger sister, whom she spoke to me of many times in the past, honourable to the last. I had a small memorial of her made and sent over to help me remember the time we spent together. What that I could return to those halcyon days, full of joy and prosperity.
Bekkie Nezoomie

My oldest sister. She's a bit of a stick in the mud, but that's probably one of her more endearing traits. She's always watching out for me, whether that's for better or worse depends on the situation at hand. I'm worried that the circumstances are weighing heavy on her thoughts, cus it's one thing to be ripped out of whatever afterlife there may be, but to do so almost a thousand years later on a new planet, being told that your people have gone extinct is something not even the strongest of wills can ignore. I wish I'd had the resources to give her back her eye, now that she's awake again she refuses, saying she'd prefer to keep just the one... at least she let me give her a modulator to help with her voice problems.
Sylver Nezoomie

My youngest sister. Above all else, it was, IS, my duty to protect her. I do not hold the treatment she received from our parents against her, for it was not her choice. What that she had come into her own from an event that didn't involve such trauma... it has made her pragmatic though, to say the least. I do not approve of what she has been up to as of late, but bereft of other options, I suppose there could be worse things to do in regards to the recovery of the Mechanthi that she has dubbed her 'children'. A fitting term, considering we may well go extinct when the three of our times are up.
Yd'Ouzheth Ucnathrair

A forgotten relic of bygone times. I haven't seen her in millennia, mayhap for the best. Her constant cheeriness and adaptability have proven a hindrance to my learning, something I take great offence at. While she has created some lovely toys, it is for the best that she is nowhere to be found during these times of enlightening study.
Liaoji

A strange being with stranger ideas. Tis a pain in my rear that he cannot be brought to see reason, but it is well that he only seeks to learn, rather than destroy instinctively. What that the same could be said for his kin, but that is neither here nor there. I have heard whispers on the celestial winds that he has engaged with my first creations, which does rather concern me, mayhap I should return to see how my children fare...
Bekkie Nezoomie

An enigma. Useful, but an unknown factor in almost any given situation. As much as he has helped, he has hindered. It's truly a pain to try and understand him, as well as impossible to try and take advantage of. As much as I'd love to ignore him, he knows too much and wields too much power to just give a wide berth to. Perhaps if he could be given incentive to offer his aid instead...
Yd'Ouzheth Ucnathrair

A fascinating Creature. Holder of countless secrets, a veritable stockpile of lies and deception! Watching her slowly bend this world into playing her tune is a most captivating show, one I am all too happy to take part in. A wielder of primeval fire, yet not satisfied with the destruction it brings, dabbling instead into necromancy of all fields... such a curious specimen, I must say I was flattered to hear from her that first time...
Sylver Nezoomie

A problem, plain and simple. His very presence incites catastrophe. Every time he has deigned to show his face plans have gone awry and people have suffered. I know not what ungodly power he wields, but what I do know is that he does not wield it for any measure of good, and thus must be seen as a threat.
Yd'Ouzheth Ucnathrair

A unique specimen. Gifted in the ways of primordial ice, yet still more fond of physical brutality, with better results to boot, a rather unusual development. The motivations and emotions of this one intrigue me greatly; such a stoic and calm exterior, concealing a whirlwind of anger and turmoil. Great potential hides within this dancing corpse, mayhap I shall commit to a proper study one day.
Amani Nezoomie

A loud, rambunctious idiot. He masquerades as a musician during the daylight hours and doesn't bother to hide his identity during his 'excursions' in the night. I had been lead to believe his kind were made to be intelligent, yet he shows very little of that claim when going about his self assigned duties. As for what he is doing on this planet in the first place, I have yet to discover.
DJ I.C

A skillful private investigator. I've heard the stories about what happened to the Nezoomie family, and it pleases me to see that they've found new purpose & life, even if it is using what most would consider 'blasphemous' methods. I've hired her on a few occasions to track down specific individuals, never once has she failed to find her mark. I won't ask how she does it, but she definitely has connections like no other. I've a sneaking feeling she finds my peppiness irritating, perhaps I should mellow out for next time I visit her office.
Amani Nezoomie

A nuisance, but arguably a welcome one. He causes problems, but they are easy to take advantage of. He believes himself clever and witty, though he is easily distracted by his own curiosity. His lack of moral quandaries makes him a risky target to hunt down, but the plethora of knowledge he holds is worth the trouble.
Yd'Ouzheth Ucnathrair

A curious individual. Bereft of the conundrums that most of the other inhabitants of this world hold, she approaches me like an acquaintance despite knowing of my true nature. Many times have I observed her "working" (as she puts it), each time executing other people with no hesitation, suggesting a distinct lack of boundaries that most "sentient" individuals are born with. Definitely worth further study. NOTE TO SELF: Ask about the scar.
Amani Nezoomie

My older sister. She and I have never truly seen eye to eye, though perhaps that is just cosmic irony, all things considered. We squabbled often as children, I was entirely unaware of the pressures our parents had placed upon her. Looking back, I feel somewhat regretful of how we interacted, but this second chance is one I am not squandering to make things right with her.
Sylver Nezoomie

My first younger sister. She was capricious, rude and rebellious in her youth, but eventually grew into her own. I cannot blame her for how she felt, knowing full well the neglect she faced from Arlo and Tiffani. I know not what she occupied herself with, but she made herself known when it counted most, and I can do nought but respect the bravery she showed upon that day. She seems to think I resent her, though it is not something I intend to correct just yet, I rather enjoy making up for the time we lost.
Amani Nezoomie

My younger sister. When I was younger, I resented her, though I now realise it was foolish to hold our parents' actions against her. Seeing her smiles fills me with an indescribable feeling... almost like pride, yet something more. Her antics in the shadows show great promise, though she has a lot to learn about discretion; intimidation and force will only get her so far.
Bekkie Nezoomie

My first older sister, half of my world, and half of my family. She and Sylver constantly looked out for me when I was young and naive, and even gave their lives for me. I would do anything to pay them back, though I suppose I already have. Nothing says I have to stop there though! I wish she would stop lecturing me about what I do in my personal time, yet I wonder how she even knows about it in the first place...
