One that still has much to learn, but he adapts rather fast. I was happy to take him under my wing, and I'm happy to do so again, no matter what it takes. You never stop learning just because you achieve something small.
When Eria wanted an escape from Barovia, he'd opened a door the snowy, mountain top village of Olana... Only to be greeted by this artificer. From there, they worked on a permanent way to try and bind him out of Ravenloft, and Strahd's control, but it was all for nought, forcing him to return to the Mist strewn continent.
They get along well enough, but being in each others vicinity for more then a few days makes them want to strangle each other.
Found him randomly in his families workshop, and it took a good amount of explaining for him to not shoot the shapeshifter on the spot. Though once things were out of the way, they tried to find a way to break the vampire lords curse, only to end up failing, making the shapeshifter have to return to Barovia - though he did give him a sort of 'portal key', allowing him to return to Olana if he ever wanted.
Ophiion got along fine with Eria.. to an extent. The two would alone certainly klil each other if left alone.
The only person Ophiion has truly open up to, the two having spent quite a lot of time together.. Despite Velkyn's broken common. They get a long very well.
Velkyn /loves/ Ophiion, more then he can ever express in his broken common, though he's been slowly working to try and perfect certain words so he could show it better.
Eria has no real thoughts about his estranged mother, other then she bore him to be the monster he is. He hates her, but not near as much as he does Greythas.
She loves her son more then she can express. and wishes she stopped Greythas doing what he did. But after being forced out into the open, she's gone into hiding as someone else, burning any current chances to make contact - or that's what she thinks.
For all he knows, Greythas is dead, the man haven abandoned the changeling once he found out his true nature.
Does have regrets for abandoning his son, though he doesn't know where first to with either finding him, or trying to apologize for the events that happened almost fifteen years ago.
