Jedi, Sith and other beings from all eras have been slowly resurrected and brought back in their prime forms if they had previously died. The time period starts on Kylo Ren's death where time stopped and history began to start living within the time of the Clone Wars. Since many have been resurrected, there is confusion among where people stand in wars that have passed. The Galactic Empire has sprung into existence once again but has fused with the New Order, creating one military stronghold. They aren't fused so well however because Sith that worked with either side pull on the strings for power, tearing at their synchronization. Well known Sith such as Darth Sidious continue on in their original plans, pushed on with the second chance of regaining power. However, other Sith now reach for a second chance at redemption.

Obi-Wan Kenobi took this opportunity to pull his old padawan back to the light and was successful at washing away enough to redeem him with the help of Luke Skywalker. Anakin took his place on the council of Coruscant once more after a long rehabilitation. The temple on Coruscant is the hub for most Jedi goings-on nowadays and after the fall of Skywalker, the council has slowly come to realize that their methods need to be changed and new ways of thinking need to be introduced. It took one more confused Jedi known as 'Angel Margono' to find solace within the dark side before the cogs of change finally started to turn.

The council removed the ban on sexual and romantic relationships, allowing jedi to expand their feelings into new areas with caution along with a few other edits. Their main issue arose when they realized how many force sensitive beings were being brought forth. Whether it was because they were Jedi or Sith, previously deceased, or new ones from the universes they were now connected to. There were too many force users who needed to be trained and far too few trained Jedi to handle them all. The fear that the Sith might get to them first prompted the Jedi to take in padawans when they weren't quite ready to be masters, leading to quick teachings and a prompt promotion to Jedi Knight.

Before, a Padawan would not be promoted to Knight until they were in their 30's as Obi-Wan Kenobi was promoted at age 26 and that was considered young. Now Padawans were being taken in and turned Jedi Knight one to three years later at the latest. This lead to many confused Knights and young Masters. Did the Order care about their trainees? Their lack of love and care turned many away from their training and into, ironically, the arms of the Sith.

In order to circumvent this issue, Jedi, for the first time in hundreds of years, are taking in multiple Padawans and putting much more training and personal time into their experience. This is a very new concept and they have yet to see results.
