I don’t think I did, but my old OC acc on Instagram says he has art on Toyhouse and said Toyhouse profile doesn’t seem to exist. i checked my transfer history and unless he was hidden or deleted, I don’t think I sold him. So where’d he go?
I’m finally overhauling my Toyhouse and uploading everyone that isn't up yet. You might already notice it’s looking a little different- it’s the start of an entire multiverse!

Like how do you make your toyhouse page look cute and stuff, are there coding templates or something? I’m not sure how to do it from scratch- I don’t remember much from my html coding class several years ago and I want my Toyhouse to actually have a personality and look decent.
same with character pages, how do you make them look cohesive? And is it a ton of effort to get them to match? I don’t even have all my characters up still, my patience is so bad
i tried to steal marvel’s character bio layout as an Easter egg for my sparvel characters but it was too complicated to get to work properly 😭
lastly- gifs and images that aren’t hosted on toyhouse (in things like profiles, comments, etc. not image uploads or avatars)- what if they’re from photos, how do you do those? don’t they need to be linked somewhere?
thank you I am clueless as to making my Toyhouse look cool and all of my Epic Lore™️ is hidden in the links of my characters so I need somewhere else to dump it, like another section or something. a world page, idk yet. I have so much lore in my notes and google drive it’s not even funny anymore, I think there’s too much to even attempt to copy here🥲 I’m bad enough at keeping the google drive up to date (not that anyone besides me reads the stuff in there anyways)
oh and also, I’m trying to make a google site as a database for all of my universes/multiverses to keep the characters, stories, and content organized because it’s even a mess inside my own brain, that’s how much there is. I need to iron out the spaghetti of the multiverse. ok bye for now

Of course! Just don’t offer on a character that isn’t set for sale! Also don’t comment IC unless it’s like, your sona being friends with mine. Most of my OCs are in their own AUs and your characters would not be able to talk to them normally.
⌁ Can I have your Discord/etc?
I do have discord, but be aware that I don’t use it, like, ever. Like, EVER ever. I check it very rarely. That being said, it’s StarryWisp#0827 if you’re okay with me not responding for an indeterminate amount of time. Instead, you should message me here, on Instagram (StarryWisp), or you can email me- dm me here first though or else it might go to spam or something. I also have Threads. And BlueSky but I haven’t done much with it yet, and I’m also on ArtFight, DeviantArt(though also very rarely), and I think I have a few other places but they’re not important or used often enough to mention here.

⌁ Can I get inspiration from your designs?
Inspiration, sure! Just don’t copy designs, full color palettes, or my primary plot lines and AUs. And please don’t make characters for my worlds- this also means no Time Horses. Otherwise, light inspiration’s always fine! It’s a part of art!
⌁ Can I ask to be added to a pinglist?
No- anyone who isn’t in my “for sale“ folder either won’t ever be for sale or won’t be for the foreseeable future. I don’t do pinglists. You can offer on OCs in my sale folder whenever, though!
⌁ If I own one of your designs, can I edit your art that came with the design?
Probably not. Keep it as a separate design, or ask me- I might be willing to edit my own art myself for your redesign!
⌁ Can I delete a design you made?
Unless it’s a duplicate (from co-owning)- no, never. You can hide them but don’t delete them from the site. If you don’t want them, sell them or get rid of them. If you’re uncomfortable with the design existing for some reason, please feel free to message me and I can help you deal with it by editing the design or something. Please talk to me about it before permanently erasing something I made!

Ask first. Some yes, mostly the plush ones or the unique-anatomy ones. Nothing too heavy though regardless.
⌁ Can I draw your Ocs with my Ocs?
Depends! Sonas (non-sparvel furry starry and pony starry) absolutely, otherwise ask if they’re not already established to be in their own AU (ex. Sparvel). It just might not make sense for them to know each other.
⌁ Can we co own an Oc?
Depends- I try to limit co-owning at all, and usually only with close friends. Feel free to ask, but don‘t feel bad if I say no- I’m very tentative to it.
⌁ Can I add your characters to dreamie/wishlist folders?
PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS EVER UNLESS THEY’RE FOR SALE
⌁ Can I mass fave your characters?
Sure, as long as you aren’t doing it with the intent of keeping an eye on if they’re ever for sale.
⌁ Can I link my Oc with yours?
Ask first. Sonas, maybe, if it’s your sona, they’re reasonably in the same world, and we know each other. Otherwise, ask, but probably not because I tend to keep a lot of my lore in links haha.
⌁ Can I ship my OC with yours?
Ask- and only if we’re friends.
⌁ Can I put your Ocs in my story?
uhhh ask, but probably not as most are already in their own stories with plenty of complexities. If you want to write like a fanfic of sorts, ask about that, too- that’s interesting too, but you’d have to read a lot of lore first haha
⌁ Can I offer on your characters?
Only if they’re in the sale folder. If we’re mutuals, you can ask about some in the side folders, the less used ones. Just not like, sonas, mains, or sparvel.

I have around 150 OCs for sale right now but most of them are super old and cheap and low quality. I understand the low demand lol.
so. what kinds of adopts ARE you interested in? I wanna make adopts I can charge more for that people will actually want to spend money on.
gimme some ideas. here are some brainstorming things that’ll help me:
Type:
- anthro but simple (just pattern and maybe hair. Front and back.)
- anthro but complex (with hair, clothes, etc, less patterns more details. One fullbody image and possibly a pattern reference if necessary.)
- feral (complex pattern only)
- pony (possibly with cutie mark and accessories. On a FiM-style base.)
Species. Anything.
aestetics? Color palettes? Favorite vibes? Themes? whatever I can work with
maybe media-based? Like a themed series? splatoon? mlp furries? I would say marvel if that didn’t immediately result in me keeping all of them and using them lol but maybe.
i am taking notes so lend me your ideas!
I just added a TON more OCs for sale and made a bunch of price cuts, so if you haven’t looked lately, now‘s the time! I actually do have more to put up, so check back often as I will be updating it and adding more!

I keep uploading pictures (as JPEGs, not PNGs) and they keep getting desaturated even though doing it as a jpeg should fix it :(
I have a few examples but I can’t actually show them here because this is where the problem is. It’s weird and I don’t like it.
I even tried switching the color space in procreate and it just made it look even more wrong so idk what to do.
any fixes?
is it considered "fair use" if I literally just steal the coding from marvel's website for the sparvel AU characters via inspect element

I DID IT FINALLY!!
it was actually absurdly easy- you go to the video you want to embed on the YouTube WEBSITE (important), click share, then embed. Copy the entire bit of code it gives you (there’s a button there for it) then go into Toyhouse and put it in the profile CSS section wherever you want it.
That’s it. It’ll work from there. You can tweak the size of the box or whatever you want, this is just the basics.
quick note- It also DOES work on unlisted videos (videos you need a link instead of searching to see) - Lusterdust‘s is unlisted to avoid the furry and maybe even marvel hate comments lol. but it does still work so you can go watch it you just cant find it on YouTube normally- this is the only place to find it aside from Instagram reels!

that’s it!! it’s really that easy!!! That’s how you add videos to Toyhouse (and as far as I know, the only way)
also one more thing- I did make a fun goofy little mlp edit video called Starlight Glimmer, I’ve Come to Bargain because that mlp sequence is just dormammu I’ve come to bargain from doctor strange (even though the rest of the special plot-wise is multiverse of madness, so funnily enough, it’s BOTH doctor strange movies). just a shameless plug since the wifi company is beating me in YouTube rn (curse you starry wifi, the wireless internet service provider for stealing my identity and taking over my googles)
just a few general Toyhouse questions that are probably both “no“ but I thought I’d ask anyways
1- can you condense characters into one? Like make entire characters into split tabs for another? Because I do that for variants but thats not the case for my fursona, ponysona, and persona even though they’re essentially still the same character in different universes. they were just made before I had the whole multiverse thing lol
and 2- I’m making a VERY ambition animatic/“animation” project entirely for fun that ideally should be finished BEFORE January(I go back to school in January), but AFTER the end of November because of the release of Procreate Dreams (Procreate’s new animation app that looks absolutely incredible and game-changing and it’s a one time payment of $20 so like, they’re my favorite company ever for that because zbrush is also coming to iPad and I am willing to bet that’s ANOTHER $1k subscription (zbrush desktop perpetual license is literally over $900 and you still have to pay like $500 for major updates) so by comparison to that and like, Adobe, it’s absolutely amazing and I’m rambling excitedly) anyways it’s hopefully gonna be a fully rendered (shaded and clean, in color) animatic/animation (like an animatic+) and it’s gonna be awesome. it’s the scene from infinity war where Doctor strange and Tony stark are in space arguing about whether to go home and it’s really tense and they almost kiss but sparvelAU twilight and luster and they DO kiss (I’ll make a normal version too that’s a bit longer but fully adherent to the scene for professional uses) and uh yeah I’m excited. It’s currently blocked out and I’m starting the actual sketching now.
Anyways here’s the actual question part- is there a way to put videos on Toyhouse that ISN’T just a YouTube link? Like embedding or something? I’m not loving having them behind links in their profiles but it’s the only way as far as I know to do it. (see StrangeSkies’ profile for an example-she does have an original (yet rougher) animatic already there)
