eleni: the red queen/queen of hearts, denoted by her volatile, ferocious temper. rules ethoav with an iron fist; her true goal is to destroy those who have wronged her.
percival: the red king/king of hearts. his pleasant, calm demeanor belies sadistic tendencies. his goal is to remain in power as long as possible.
rosaire: the knight general of ethoav. he has a kind heart which is tempered by his intense loyalty to the royal family. the civil war weighs heavy on his heart.
senne: a proud dragoness. self-serving and pragmatic, she follows her own rules rather than adhering to any romantic code of honor, uncaring of others' opinions of her.
intilios, the sun kingdom, governed by house albion
alouette: the only princess of intilios and the king's golden child. vivacious and lively - she's a breath of fresh air compared to her quarreling brothers.
alysanne: a keros who once served the goddess of war, siria, during her conquest of the world. she is slowly growing used to modern, courtly life.
luxebris/karne, the frozen wasteland
nanami: wielder of the obsidian and one of four heroes seeking godstones to restore the land. determined and stubborn, she never loses sight of her true goals.
