fuwa stands outside the apartment, flowers in his left paw, his fursuit headpiece in the other. 'let luck be a lady tonight...!' he thought to himself, mustering up enough courage to knock twice on the door.
"So then William Afton-" Dia stops herself as she hears two (and exactly two) knocks on her front door. Who could that be? And in the middle of her explaining something important to Ruby, too! The audacity! She shook her head and looked at Ruby apologetically. "I am going to have to go get that, we'll continue this later, I promise." She sighs and gets up, then walks towards the door to open it. "This better be worth it." She mumbles to herself and twists the doorknob.
"...Fuwa?" Her eyes open wide in surprise. "What brings you here?"
Fuwa blinks. The person before him... Straight, black hair with white accessories hanging by the side. A surprised look on her face, accenting the little mole she has by her mouth. There's no doubt about it, this was Dia herself. Ugh. Not quite who he'd imagined, he'll admit... With the way a certain red-haired girl was looking in on the conversation, poorly hidden behind the doorframe... Yep, this was definitely going to get awkward.
"Well, I was kinda looking forward to, uhm... have a conversation with someone," He squeezed the bouquet of flowers. "Could you... go get your dad for me? Please?"
"Oh, um..." Dia furrows her brows, her expression changing from surprise to confusion. A bouquet of flowers... My dad?! She mentally shook her head and checked back in. "Of course, uh, you... You can come sit inside while I get him." What could he possibly... She slams the door, then realized she closed the door on good old family (not so) friend Fuwa, and opened the door again. Wider, this time. "Ah! Sorry! I'm not focusing, ha. ha. I'll... I will go get him now, make yourself comfortable." She let out another stilted laugh before heading inside. And not really to call her father just yet.
After having the door somewhat rudely shut in his face, you could say Fuwa wasn't exactly enthused when he was finally let into the home. Still, a man should never forego his formalities, and so he muttered a 'thank you' to Dia before she hurried off. Hopefully to find her dad, but were Fuwa to think of that too much, his heart would beat out of his chest. No, he instead headed for the living room, finding a comfortable chair to sit in. Ruby hadn't made her official appearance yet, which he assumed was a cause of her not realizing she'd been caught eavesdropping. He shrugged. It wasn't why he was here, so it wasn't his business.
Dia looked back once to make sure that Fuwa settled down (and, most importantly, didn't catch onto her), then continued on with her plan. That she made on the spot just now. She walked upstairs to her room and closed the door.
"Ruby. It's a Code Red."
She took her phone out to text Ruby, hoping her sister would be as discreet about this as Dia is.
"...what does that mean >>;??"
"Ruby. *sigh*. Fuwa is up to something... I don't know what it is yet, but that fursuit does not spell good news. Do you have any idea as to why he wants to see our dad? When was the last time Fuwa even visited our place? We always go to his..."
"im in the dark with you on this one ^-^;;"
"Of course. It's fine, I'll handle this. Make him some tea while I... look for something. Keep him distracted. Tell him Dad is preoccupied right now but will come down eventually."
"aye aye sir ! o7"
Dia proceeded to turn off her phone and put it away, feeling content with what she is about to do. She headed for her dad's room. Not to call him just yet.

Ruby walked up to Fuwa, stepping away from her very hidden position. With her hands behind her back and a very innocent look on her face, she spoke to him. "Dia just texted me to tell me that Dad is a biiit busy right now, sadly!! But until he's free, would you, um, like some tea..? I can make some for you!" She smiled at him brightly. "Oh, and, feel free to turn on the TV. I hear they're airing this 'Euphoria' thing on HBO, it sounds like your kind of show!"
