Territory

(139 words)
Songclan's territory is comprised of a large coastal dudecious forest, with evergreens to the west borering a mountain range, maple, hickory, and oak making up the majority of the trees in the center,  beech and hornbeams growing on the coast that surrounds the north and east of the clan's territory and a large patch of birch in the southeast.
The clan wanders often within the borders of their territory, having several different dens that they stay in and many temporary camps that they use while traveling.
There is also a large river that winds down from the mountains in the west and cuts a large swath through the heart of the territory on its way to the sea. Songclan has many ways of crossing the river, either using fallen trees or their knowledge of the shallows to ford it.

Raccoons live in the eastern quarter of the forest, sometimes stealing food and squabbling with the cats, but usually leave the clan alone, especially if they are in a group.

Clan description
(186)
Songclan is a clan full of storytellers, poets, and singers. They are wanderers who never stay at one camp very long as they follow their restless, adventure-loving leader from one end of their territory to the other.
Strangers are welcome, especially ones with a new tale to tell or a song to sing, and all stories are told, either ones of history or ones of distant lands or ones of pure fantasy, all songs are sung, ones of love, of loss, of hate, and all poems are composed, ones purely nonsensical and ones with deep thought.
The clan has a deep respect for all the world around them and all the other creatures living alongside them, believing that even the mice scuttling through the leaves and the moss growing on the stones have their own stories to be told.
They are also an extremely peaceful clan, preferring to simply leave if a situation becomes tense or dangerous, also making it a rule never to rise to an insult, a dare, or a threat, as in the old stories, rashly made decisions almost always come to ruin.
Clan reputation
(156)
Songclan is well known as singers and poem composers, but more importantly as keepers of the old stories, stories that predate the clan itself, stories that hold information long lost to other clans. This gives the clan somewhat of an mysterious and aloof aura, that, as well as their wandering habits. It's also known as a clan that will accept anyone without asking many questions of their past. This attracts cats who wish to escape their previous ways of life and sometimes gives the clan a dirty name and some rumors have it that the clan is full of murderers, thieves, and kittypets. In a way it's true and in a way it's not. Many of the cats who have come to the clan have killed or stolen or been kittypets, but they come to the clan looking to change their ways.
Simply put, Songclan is know as a clan full of mysterious, wise, previous criminals.
