🏳️‍🌈 Purity/Puritan culture is and always has been a tool for power, control, weaponized shame, and misogyny. Many of the people who fought for LGBTQ+ and kink liberation in the 20th century were the furthest from "pure." They were the outcasts, sex workers, drag queens, and leather-folk who lived true to themselves. They are the ones who built the ground you stand on. Stop supporting the destruction of the pillars that created your community/spaces today. Stop supporting and helping the religious dogma that wants to destroy and shame you back into control. 🏳️‍🌈
