These are 800 x 500 (or 500 x 800 if I feel like going horizontal: here is an example of that although TW Blood.) I usually just do what the character inspires me to do/artistic freedom. These busts allow for a bit more movement and expression for your character. Background is still a simple color or pattern unless discussed before-hand. 

Also adding this icon YCH! For this one I'll consider any type of character! (Humans/Humanoids/Dainties/Dreamies/Ice Cream Cows/Similar CS. Flat faced anthros are fine, muzzle anthros might be possible. There's not much I won't take a stab at for these!) I pretty much change up everything to fit your character best!
The price is more of a sliding scale and starts at $10 and can move up to $15+ for very detailed or complex characters. An example of a more complex character could be Lim- who required a lot of big base edits.

Slots currently unlimited, but keep in mind turnaround time may be on the slower side as I only have time to draw on weekends as it is the busy season at my job. I may consider doing linking/couples pieces for an additional fee on either style. I primarily take Paypal. Here is my TOS.

Heyo! I’m tentatively taking a machine embroidery commission if anyone is interested! There is no set price scheme right now because of how unique each quote would be. (Also please understand that this may be a more expensive commission- custom embroidered items are more of a luxury good; these products tend to be charged based on stitch count- the bigger and more filled in, the higher the stitch count). Please try to read this thread carefully- I will try to include all the info I can!

Please also realize this is a little bit more on the experimental side as digital art is not a direct 1:1 with embroidery. There are many colors that do not have 1:1 in thread colors. (I am a perfectionist and try to get as close as I can, but I just want to mention that because of things like skin tones.) Embroidery thread is extremely shiny so it does not photograph very well- I am usually picking every color by eye.

You must be 18+ for this commission as it involves receiving a physical item. I would prefer to only ship to the US at this time. 

I am not doing the drawn artwork for these from scratch right now. The artwork that works best for these types of projects would be simple and generally unshaded (think like vector art or cel shading). Machine embroidery does not achieve gradients/ombres the same way as other art. I may be able to simplify your original art to better suit the project- it just depends. Size wise I currently don’t want to go above around the 5” x 5” area. (I may be open to bigger sized projects in the future, but for the time being I just want to keep it smallish.)

I currently do not have the set up for leather items, iron on patches, or appliqué. I also don’t currently have any specialty threads like metallic/variegated/glow in the dark.

The art cannot exceed 15 colors right now.

(I may work out how to add more at a later time, but for now the max is 15.)

If you are interested in something like a hat- many hats only have a sewing field of around 1.5”-1.75” tall or so (and then it can go up to 2”-2.25” on some select styles). Be cautious of the detail you are trying to cram into such a small area if you are interested in a hat.

Quantity of items: (Once I have a machine file made, I can sew multiple items or sew again in the future. Keep in mind some items require different file settings so something like what was created for a shirt may not work for a hat.) The price would be per item.

Other Notes:

Payment would be upfront via PayPal. The turnaround time might be around a month or so. It could be sooner, but I have to sew regular orders for work too. I will be corresponding fairly regular with you about the project since I have to do test sews/color selection/verify placement and that sort of thing.

If you are an artist looking to manufacture in bulk for a convention or art show or something, I may be open to doing that. (Please keep in mind I am not an overseas manufacturer and I am sewing the items myself and not sending that out- so the prices will reflect that. However, I can likely make you the items faster than waiting on that type of shipping/tariffs. There are also some things I cannot do because they would be sewn on prior to the actual item being constructed.) I do not make free samples.

It's the busy season at my job so I've mostly just been trying to stay afloat and not have a menty b, but I just wanted to take the time and thank everyone for still supporting me even a little bit!

I know I have not been making art as fast as I used to make art. I had to take a long period off just to rest from carpal tunnel & gallbladder & other issues. I've been trying to take care of myself to avoid things like surgery. So far preventative measures seem to be doing ok for now? Hopefully it stays like that! I might have to go back on the gallbladder meds, which is kind of expensive, but not as expensive as out of pocket surgery lmao.

So otherwise what's new with me???

It has taken me over 3 years but I have finally almost become entirely debt free (a lot of which was compounded by already having some debt then being unemployed for a long time + some medical + prior to being medicated for ADHD, I was an insane dopamine spender where I would go long periods of time spending nothing and then basically freak out like "I work hard!! I deserve a little treat!!" and then the treat would be...not so little lmao and then I would feel so horrible afterwards) and I am just so thankful that I have finally almost accomplished the goal of being debt free and to get out of the cycle I was in. I am hoping to pay off the last of it before my birthday in August. I know I have often publicly financially struggled since frequently crap things seem to happen to me like quadruple in a row lol- but I just wanted to finally share some good news for once. I am really hoping to come to a place where finances are not such a struggle anymore and want to give a big thank you to the Patrons & commissioners who floated me through those times. To the people who spent 10 or 25 cents on a blob in 2016 to the people who have spent way more now- THANK YOU!! 🎉

In my time off and also in being at my new job now for a year, I think my relationship to art has changed a lot. I have been really burnt out tbh. You all kept me going when I was unemployed and for that, I can never thank you enough- but wow going pedal to the metal on art to survive a whole year was tough!! It has been tough for every artist out there especially because of the pandemic and every single platform deciding it really hates artists now and then also AI?? So I'm insanely grateful to anyone who chose to help me out of the millions of artists who needed it just as much or even more than me.

All the platforms destabilizing algorithmically has been really hard on me, honestly. I feel like most of my followers are ghosts who don't even get to see or interact with my art anymore and that's been a crappy feeling. Initially, the crappy feeling was like a total rejection dysphoria doom spiral sort of deal...but now it's not that severe of a feeling most of the time. However, it also feels unfeasible for me to try to make multiple pieces of art to post multiple times a day to try to please timelines? Especially really intricate pieces like I see some people make. I'm not too great at tags or trends and usually by the time I see an art challenge- it's 8 months too late. OTL There's stuff I like, but I also wouldn't say I was big on making fan art either? I've always just liked designing adopts and characters and doing the occasional other commissions. I'm just not sure that it's sustainable for me as a person who just can't make and post stuff that quickly.

So I've really felt discouraged and been uncertain of what to do. AuDHD is hard sometimes- because I'm not sure how to reach out and frequently feel like a depersonalized alien. It sometimes feels like I'm the lone villager on one of those animal crossing islands and I'm just hoping the mayor will find me and bring me back to hang out with everyone. 🧍

Otherwise, I have also learned SO much at my new job! I work at a screen printing shop now and I do all the computer stuff and artwork and embroidery and sometimes help in the printing area (although I do make...far below...what people normally do in this job, so I'm not out of the woods yet OTL ...but I have been learning a lot and they take my mistakes in stride and are nice people!! so I'm planning to see where it takes me for now lol) and wow, it has been a RIDE. It has also entirely changed what I know about merchandise and setting up art for merchandise- so I think in the future a lot of my products will hopefully be even more awesome. 👍

So, what's next (maybe)? (And the TL;DR for some of you):

 In December, my job brought our embroidery in house and got 2 machines, so I also have basically taught myself machine embroidery in like the last half a year. I actually like embroidery a lot! I think it is an incredibly neat way to see your art displayed. At work, I mostly do stuff like company polos and that sort of thing- but I'm really hoping I can start experimenting more artistically with the craft now that I've done a lot of the basics. I have been thinking a lot about what direction I can go in with art and I've been toying with the idea of getting a machine for myself now that I can properly save for it without being undermined by debt 24/7.

I guess, my question is: would physical art like that interest you? You can embroider a lot of different items and I've been thinking about what can be done- such as putting an OC on a jacket back or a sweater or other items like shirts, bags, etc. or if I learn to sew also, maybe doing plushes? Maybe adopts with a physical item attached to it? Being able to make some of the clothes your characters wear? Patches maybe? Maybe some of you have ideas on something you'd like to see? There's still a lot of mulling it over to do, but I'm just seeing if it really would just be too insane to start over entirely doing something else with my art or not lol. 

I know the concerns with something like that might be like "Isn't that kind of thing expensive?". Truthfully, some items might be. With digital art, I feel I have always tried to keep my prices as reasonable as possible. It's possible to undercharge on digital art because there is usually not too high of a cost of physical supplies overall. I know some people might be pushed away because the physical art merchandise area has always felt (to me, at least) classified as especially "luxury" in an "Art is a luxury!!" kind of environment. However, I want to be able to think of a range of things that would allow this to continue to be approachable. 

I guess I'm finding it hard to think about walking out onto that limb to do something new. I've seen plush makers and people who do embroidery by hand and people who do pet portraits and that sort of thing, but I don't think I've really seen anyone fusing embroidery with character art in the way I'm thinking of? I'm sure there's a few out there, but I just haven't really seen it in the art circles I look at so I haven't been sure.    

If you happen to see this and happen to have any thoughts or opinions on the embroidery thing, let me know! I'm still a long way off from maybe taking the plunge, but that's kind of the pivot I have been thinking of making eventually. Maybe by 2025? I think it could suit me more now that I have to be careful of carpal, don't have as much time to make things and post, and a way to freshen things up. I would probably be making separate accounts for it? So it would probably be a pretty big overhaul where some of you might have to migrate over. Life has definitely not been going how I planned this year. I have not been able to draw as much as I would have liked to because of carpal tunnel syndrome (and I have been doing physio to try to stave off double arm surgery). My new job as a screen printer has also been keeping me very busy and tired. In preparation for an art market I went to (that failed lol) I also built a ko-fi shop for merchandise! Hey everyone! Sorry for mostly radio silence, but I've been suffering with some kind of ???hand arthritis/motion injury??? (my doctor doesn't really know; the basic protocol I've been given is kind of...not really working that good and mostly consists of taking aleve but I can't afford a specialist rn.) I have been trying really hard to rest my hand and do the other things she said. BUT BASICALLY...I can barely grip a pen and haven't really been able to draw. My thumb is fucked up and gripping like that or with fine motor skills is super painful like I can't even peel off a sticker atm lmao it's so frustrating. I am still unemployed and have been since last Nov. and just keep getting a ton of rejection emails and now I can barely finish what I have or draw anything new so I'm just like cool...now what.   

There is some stuff I need to pay for soon like my car tag renewal, looking for some kind of thumb splint or glove that might support my hand if I try to draw (idk what more to do to help this problem??), and some other things like medication/bills so I'm trying to round up like $300.

Howdy! I've been pretty depressed with my regular art this year and decided to branch out into other stuff. So I'm offering custom gingerbread cookie clay ornaments this year! This is my first time really attempting to do stuff with clay, but I think I'm getting better with each project (and also perfecting my technique for this cookie style- there's already methods I want to update haha). Needless to say, maybe I won't become a real baker any time soon- but at least it's giving me dopamine molecules for now lmao. I would like to earn a little bit of money for my upcoming trip as well. ^^

Details/Info:
-Characters may be simplified slightly or even quite a bit. I do like detailed characters and I have plans to change techniques to even further capture character details but at the end of the day, it's a silly cookie. I plan to experiment some with these so I do appreciate wiggle room (i.e. I'm thinking about ways to fill in hair more, changing the lineart to include thick and thin, etc. Just using my noggin lol). Simplifications to the overall outline of a character may be made in order to reduce the chance of breakage. I may also build the cookie with layers for a more 3D effect if I can get that to work.
-I am definitely trying my absolute best for neatness. My hand shakes pretty bad when I do squeezing type tasks. If it's not to my personal standards, I absolutely will toss it out and start over. OTL    

-Thus far sizing has come in around 3", which is why it might be simplified, but obviously that might change depending on how the character is.
-That being said- I'm open to any kind of character head this time! Humans/humanoids, anthros, and even possibly ferals! I do think simpler characters work best overall, but it's up to you! I am very artistically open to what can be cookie-fied because...I am sad and need amusement atm.

-What hasn't been doing the absolute best for me currently when deciding on a character? Very spikey hair. It ends up being very, very fragile and can crumble away even when painting.
-Thus far, I have not tried to seal these cookies with any sealants. I may start sealing the actual cookies with a matte sealant to try to preserve the cookie look while leaving the paint unsealed and glossy.

Timeline of process:
Day 1: Template out character, roll out clay, cut out clay.
Day 1-2/3: Ornament is drying, will paint if possible. Due to thicknessnes, drying time depends.
Day 3-4/5: Painting, frosting, etc. The frosting style paint has a recommended drying time of 72 hours.

Then shipping out ASAP! I have all the means to ship from my home. I will work as hard as I can to have these out in time for Christmas gifts if need be. I think final post date for gifts was determined to be the 14th/15th? I am leaving for a trip from the 22nd to the 28th and I don't think I will be able to complete any during that time but I'm totally free after that and can send cookies in January even!  

Please understand, I will do my absolute best to ensure these arrive in one piece but I am at the mercy of the postal service. I will be labeling it as fragile/do not crush. We can talk about what to do in the event of any...unfortunate...incidents, but I'm hoping nothing happens. @_@

-I mostly prefer headcanon/HC just chit chatting, shootin’ the shit or whatever. But also I could consider RP again! I can make posts anywhere from a few paragraphs to a few pages- it just depends! My energy levels lately have been on the low side because of health problems but if I feel inspired then Y’know!

-I prefer to have friends 21+. You must be at least 18 to talk to me in private. (I know I do have some followers under that age- feel free to say hi on all the publicly available areas!) 

-All of my characters in the ghost emoji folder and sock hell (dainties) are open to talk about. They can all use friends/lovers/enemies/antagonists and so on. A lot of their profile info is not really a thing because profile making is not really my specialty but I can easily give you a run down on anyone who interests you! A lot of them are mega assholes lol. I am also happy to start from scratch and make new characters.

-I do multi-ship my characters. I have very few limits as far as 18+ content and also my characters are not a reflection of me. I frequently give them interests/fetishes/what have you that I don’t have and don’t condone IRL. I just like everything dark and spicy and trying to really get a feel for who my character is whoops.
