‘Aconite’ is a widely known (,widely avoided,) hotel, both founded and currently run by one Alvaro Sterling. The man was originally an esteemed lawyer, that of whom was turned hitman for The black hand in his mid twenties. He doesn’t get into his backstory much, but he met his now wife (Magnolia) through the organization, and they wound up running away together, knowing of The black hand’s strict rules; no employees personal lives being permitted to intermingle.

Now, Alvaro runs the Aconite Hotel with the assistance of his family. The establishment is generally frequented by felons, seeing as most workers are criminals of some kind too. If it’s a thief checking in for the night, or an escape artist working the bar, damn near anybody is accepted into this hotel with open arms!

It’s nothing short of a miracle that Alvaro lets such crooks find refuge here. He tends to act annoyed by the rowdy environment he’s created, but he continues to find ways around the law, and loopholes to keep the place running smoothly. It’s pretty much guaranteed, if you’re working under him, he’ll do anything within his ability to keep you out of jail and off of the streets.
