Hey! I need opinions on design inspiration, feel free to share in the comments or in the poll!

I have a character I made and deeply connect with, but recently I saw a character that has taken some inspiration from their design. The mentioned design is different enough to be labeled as a separate character, but it mostly takes my character’s traits and alteres them to be slightly different.

It was similar down to the clothes, the hat, the eye pattern, the bandages placement on the face, somewhat backstory, and weapon choice. Again but altered, such as placement and colors^ I know there are many common themes out there, but it was really close People have asked to take inspo from their design before, which made me think

Is it ok to feel somewhat uncomfortable? I’m not sure if I’m just being paranoid or unreasonable. I don’t plan on taking action, but I want to know opinions on design loose or heavy inspiration.
