In the beginning, the world was primal, unformed. It was constant chaos amongst the elements, until the first elementals came along. The elementals were immensely powerful beings, able to bend the elements to their will. Amongst the elementals the most powerful were the Pyrophoenx and the Cryophoenix, pure embodiments of fire and ice, constantly clashing for dominance.
