Dusted Mt. Pride (W)

Dusted Mountain Pride

Located in the peaks of the western mountains, the Dusted Mountain Pride is a little known pride, famous for their stories and traditions.


Name Languages : African, Arabic, Hebrew

Names usually centered around God


Hierarchy

Monarch - The King or Queen, and their mate

Royal Cubs - Any cubs born between the King and Queen, the heir is chosen by the monarch before their death


Law Giver - Knows and upholds the laws

Scribe - Law Giver in training


Healer - The pride's doctor, mostly deals with injuries due to the pride's nature

Healer's Trainee - Healer in training for the pride


Hunt Leader - Leader of the hunting parties

Hunting Party - In charge of providing food for the pride

Hunting Fledgling - Young hunters in training


Den Mother - Lionesses in the pride in charge of taking care of the next generation

Cubs - Young cubs, still in the care of their mother

Students - Older cubs, and sometimes teens, that have not yet chosen their place in the pride, as well as outsiders looking to join


Order of eating:

Monarchs -> Cubs and Pregnant Lionesses -> Other Adults


Baobab Pride (N)

Baobab Pride

Located in the northern mountains, the Baobab pride are proud warriors. Males are seen as stronger, and are trained as to protect the pride. Females are not much lower than males, and are trusted with hunting. Rarely especially strong lionesses can join the warrior ranks, though that depends on the ruling king. Some are more... traditional than others. The King's word is law, and in recent generations this has been used in an almost tyrannical way.

Queen - The king's chosen mate

Royal Cubs - Any cubs born between the King and Queen

Warriors - A group, mostly consisting of male lions, who keep the order in the pride as well as fighting off outside threats

Warrior Apprentices - Young warriors in training


Hunt Leader - Leader of the hunting parties, can be either male or female

Hunting Party - Composed mostly of lionesses, they are in charge of providing food for the pride

Hunting Fledgling - Young hunters in training


Healer - The pride's doctor, mostly deals with injuries due to the pride's nature

Healer's Trainee - Healer in training for the pride


Den Mother - Lionesses in the pride in charge of taking care of the next generation

Cubs - Young cubs, still in the care of their mother

Students - Older cubs, and sometimes teens, that have not yet chosen their place in the pride

Recruits - Lions and lionesses wanting to join the pride, no matter the age


Illegitimate Cubs - Any cubs born of either the King or Queen and another member of the pride, no matter the age

River Lily Pride (E)

River Lily Pride

Founded along the Eastern rivers, the River Lily Pride's focus is knowledge. It is encouraged for young lions and lionesses to learn about the land, and the things that grow and live there. Females are considered stronger, being the ones to endure childbearing, and are to be respected. There is a great respect for life, and the hunters must respect the lives of their prey, and not take more than they need. Fruits, vegetables and herbs are also eaten alongside meat.

Queen - The leader of the tribe, usually female

King - The Queen's chosen mate

Royal Kin - Any cubs born between the King and Queen, the next ruler is usually chosen from these


Advisor - The Queen's second in command, a trusted lion or lioness with great knowledge, usually an elder


Hunting Leader - Leader of the hunting party

Hunting Party - Lions and lionesses responsible for hunting


General - Leader of the guard

Guard - Lions and lionesses in charge of protecting the pride from threats


Doctor - Specialist in medicine, helps to heal those in need

Nurse - The doctor's assistant, and next doctor in training

 

Mothers - Those in charge of nursing and teaching the young cubs of the pride

Cubs - Children born from members of the pride

Students - Older ones who have not yet chosen 


Others - Visitors and lions that wish to join the pride


Order of eating:

Queen and King -> Royal Kin -> Cubs, Mothers and Pregnant Lionesses -> All Others


Savannah Pride (C)

Savannah Pride

The central-most pride of the divide, and the oldest. 



Name Languages : African, Arabic, Egyptian, Hebrew


Hierarchy

King and Queen - The joint leaders of the Savannah Pride

Heir - The next in line to the throne, and firstborn of the King and Queen

Guard Leader - The second born to the King and Queen, and the leader of the Lion Guard

Royal Cubs - Other cubs born between the King and Queen


Mentor - Advises and guides the King and Queen in their reign

Healer - The one responsible for keeping the pride healthy

Novice - Healer in training


Lion Guard - Usually consisting of lions and lionesses,

Wasteland Pride (S)

Wasteland Pride

Located in the wasteland to the south of the divide, the Wasteland Pride is a small pride of outcasts and exiles. Anyone who can prove themselves worthy can join. There's not much food, but they find a way to survive. The pride has also formed an interesting relationship with the hyenas that also live in the area.

Heir - Chosen by the leader to be the next ruler, not necessarily related to the leader


Advisor - Chosen by the current leader, someone they trust to help them make decisions

General - Leader of the Guard, in charge of protecting the boarders, as well as keeping the law in place

Trainees - Older cubs, and sometimes teens, that have not yet chosen their place in the pride


Rogues- Lions and lionesses wanting to join the pride, no matter the age

Cubs -> Mothers and Pregnant Lionesses -> Other Lions -> Leaders


Unaffiliated Rogues

Lions and lionesses not affilliated with any prides. There are not real factions, nor proper rules. They can be found on the outskirts of the pride's territories. Be careful while venturing out of your pride's territories, as some of these rogues were exiled, and/or do hold grudges against pride lions.
