When you make a purchase at the Prize Store, edit your comment with the Transaction From to update your balance. You will have to do the math for your final balance yourself, use a calculator if needed lol

Do not post multiple comments! Keep all your transactions written on one comment and edit the comment to update it.

How does it work?

•Traits range in value from 1 to 5 points, characters that apply to multiple traits, earn more points. I will calculate your points.

Mark your calendars! (If you wanna) 

The scavenger hunt will begin the afternoon/evening of February 12th and end the 18th, with a few extra days for anyone who might have missed it to take part. 

Even if you miss the release, you can join in whenever you want and replay the days you missed to catch up with everyone else.

I think for the finalized Hunt, instead of having one bulletin where everyone comments on their own comment threads, I will have a Bank Bulletin where people will store their points, and a Prize Bulletin where you can exchange your points for prizes. The trait hunting will be done on daily bulletins, that way the comments don’t get super laggy like they did on my Trick-or-Treat doors lol

And also posting daily bulletins for the actual hunts will make it easier for people to check in if they want points, since there will be a new notification each day 🤔

Anyway!!!! rambling a bit but I just wanted to write that down so I don’t forget it lol 

I’ll have all the rules written down in an easier-to-understand way when I get around to hosting it 

This is a test run for my future scavenger hunt! The traits listed here will not be used in the actual event, and will be somewhat easier to “obtain” than the official traits.

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!

 I‘m going to test how well this would run on a bulletin. There will be 3 test “days”. For Day 1 start your comment thread, and reply to your thread for each subsequent day. (don’t actually wait a day to do these lol for the actual hunt, you will need to wait for new traits to be posted)

Each day gives you a list of traits, your goal is to find 2 of your own characters that fulfill as many as the traits as you can. The more traits you fulfill, the more points you get. The number next to the trait is the number of points you receive. 

Please tally your points in each comment, adding each day‘s total to your overall total at the end of each comment. Showing your addition work isn’t necessary lol

(linking characters is not required for this test)

And now for the other announcement. I was planning to host this regardless of milestones, but it’s timed pretty well to serve as a celebration for 300 subs lol 

Sometime soon I will be hosting a scavenger hunt, inspired by @clownplague‘s Rafflethon. (Permission was given to take inspiration) The event will run for 7 days, and the goal is to match your characters with listed traits to earn points which can be exchanged for adopts and art!

I’m still deciding on whether it will be hosted on the forums or on a bulletin, I guess it’ll depend on how many people I want to join lol 

I might post some test runs to see if the goals I’ve set are good enough for people to actually earn a decent amount of points 🤔 I will hopefully post the official scavenger hunt sometime in febuary, maybe before or the week of valentines day
