I found this weird book at an oddities shop just off campus. It's pretty interesting! I swear the pages keep changing, though, and it fucking reeks sometimes.
!!!
"Céline?" The feline scoffs. "A thorn in my side! Always coming in at the worst times and distracting me from my legacy."
Harvey pauses, his eyes narrowing and his tail lashing angrily behind him.
"What has she told you of our... 'relationship'?"
"Harvey is an asshole." She pauses, her well-maintained claws absentmindedly scratching at the fur on her throat. "I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a thing for bitchy little nerds, though."
Timber has been the colony guide for many seasons. I, among the rest of the colony, respect them as the leader of the colony, even if they make some... questionable leadership choices.
I love Tulip dearly. I try to protect her the best I can, especially regarding the... circumstances of her brother's death...
Adder is a very caring cat who knows what to do! I'll never understand herbalism and memorizing every medicine, so he's definitely impressive! I trust them to take care of the colony.
Shrapnel's always been a leader figure, not only among their own kindle but also cats both younger and older! It really wouldn't surprise me if Timber made them a part of the council, soon, even with them being rather young. (I can't imagine Hawthorn would be too happy about that, though.) Who knows, maybe Shrapnel could even take Timber's place as the colony guide, one day. Cats do seem to look up to them! But that most likely wouldn't be for a long, long time.
If I said that his pranks around the camp were frustratingly annoying at times, it would be an understatement... but they are just a young cat, I'm not even that much older than them truly, so maybe they'll grow out of it? He definitely shows potential in his training, though! A lot better than I did at his age.
ADDER's not the worst Colony cat I've met. He's got none of that weird younger-cat energy and doesn't make my life miserable, but he's not as driven as a cat should be, in my opinion. So, I don't go out of my way to talk to him, and neither does he, and that's fine with me.
Hawthorn? Oh! I don't know her too well, being a few kindles younger than her. She seems to keep to herself and her kindle-mates, mostly, which I can empathize with. In that regard, I'd say we have that in common! Though, she often seems a bit... angry? For that reason I often keep my distance unless she needs any herbs.
