D&D 3.5e Stardragon Race Traits

Do not use these templates if you don't own a Stardragon, they are a closed species. These stats are unofficial, though free to use for any stardragon D&D campaign.


Stareaters

  • +2 to any one ability score
  • Humanoid (Medium)
  • Base speed 30ft
  • +2 racial bonus to diplomacy, spellcraft, and use magic device
  • Immunity to sleep spells, one additional feat at first level
  • Weapon proficiency: All simple weapons, all bows, all staves
  • Favored class: Druid
  • Natural attack: Horns (1d2 if curled backwards, 1d4 if upward)
  • Those with the rare scalebelly trait gain +3 natural armor

Starsweepers

  • +2 CHA +2 DEX -2 WIS
  • Humanoid (Medium)
  • Base speed 30ft
  • +2 racial bonus to bluff, gather information, and perform
  • +4 on savings throws against poison
  • Weapon proficiency: All simple & martial weapons, bladed fan, war fan
  • Favored class: Bard
  • Natural attack: Horns (1d4)
  • Those with a tail that have a stinger may choose one poison that it would inflict

Stardashers

  • +4 DEX -2 STR
  • Humanoid (Medium)
  • Base speed 40ft
  • +2 racial bonus to handle animal, move silently, and hide
  • +4 natural armor, low-light vision
  • Weapon proficiency: All simple & martial weapons
  • Favored class: Ranger
  • Natural attack: Horns (1d6, curled ohm 1d4)

Starcrafters 

  • +2 STR +2 CON -2 DEX
  • Humanoid (Medium)
  • Base speed 30ft
  • +2 racial bonus to craft, listen, and spot
  • +3 natural armor, darkvision out to 60ft
  • Weapon proficiency: All simple & martial weapons, all hammers and axes
  • Favored class: Fighter
  • Natural attack: Horns (1d4 female, 1d6 male), Tail gems (1d2)
  • Those with an uncommon ridge plates trait gain an additional +3 natural armor (total +6), and with a rare spade tail trait do 1d6 damage instead of 1d2 on their tail gem attack

Starweavers

  • +2 WIS +2 DEX -2 STR
  • Humanoid (Medium) 
  • Base speed 30ft
  • +2 racial bonus to concentration, knowledge (Nature, Local, Arcana, Religion, and History), and sense motive
  • Low-light vision, +2 racial bonus on will saves
  • Weapon proficiency: All simple & martial weapons, all staves, bladed fan, war fan
  • Favored class: Monk
  • Natural attack: Horns (1d4)
  • Those with the uncommon scale trait have gain +3 natural armor

Starfishers

  • +2 STR +2 DEX -2 INT
  • Humanoid (Medium)
  • Base speed 20ft, Swim speed 40ft
  • +2 racial bonus to intimidate, survival, and swim
  • 5 Damage Reduction when faced with Cold damage, vulnerable to electricity damage
  • Weapon proficiency: All simple weapons, all spears & harpoons
  • Favored class: Barbarian
  • Natural attack: Horn (1d4), Bite (1d4)
  • Those with the rare spiked horn trait do 1d6 damage with a horn attack instead of 1d4

Starrobbers

  • +2 STR +2 CON -2 CHA
  • Humanoid (Medium)
  • Base speed 30ft
  • +2 racial bonus to climb, intimidate, and search
  • Darkvision out to 60ft, +3 racial bonus on fortitude saves
  • Weapon proficiency: All simple and martial weapons, as well as all proficiencies from the race they were in their previous life
  • Favored class: Rogue
  • Natural attack: Horns (1d2)
  • Those with the rare poison barb tail trait may pick one poison to attribute it with. 
  • Starrobbers with the severblight subtype have a +5 additive to STR rather than +2, and their base speed is reduced to 20

Starshooters


  • +2 DEX +2 CHA -2 WIS
  • Humanoid (Medium)
  • Base speed 30ft
  • +4 racial bonus to listen, profession, and use magic device
  • Cannot cast spells regardless of class (those with the rare elemental ability are the only exception to this rule), +4 skill points per level
  • Weapon proficiency: Starshooters are proficient in all weapons
  • Favored class: Rogue
