A world where magic can fuse with you anywhere, Runes are magic stones that absorb into the user, giving them immense power, however, Runes can give unwanted mutation to the body, and without proper training and experience, anyone with a rune can overload, turning them into hideous creatures that will try to destroy anything in sight, making them dangerous for society, hence why The Rune Division is created, a sanctuary for people with runes, where they train to control the power forced onto them, and made into defenders against the Overloads, hoping one day to reenter society again.
