Emergency sales

Posted 2 months, 9 days ago by WorldOfYentri

Hey guys,

So I’m moving on Wednesday and I need money to ship my things and for my medicine before I leave

https://toyhou.se/WorldOfYentri/characters/folder:87044?page=1

Comment here or note me!  Spreading the word helps a lot

I have like soooo many designs I've bought ever since 2014 sooo. Might as well upload them. Yeah sure, I didn't develop half of them but still.

Hello!

I have a lot of unused characters and I was thinking of selling a few. Thing is I get too easily attached to my hoard, which is a problem.
I’m trying to be better but it’s hard.

So if you see a design that you like (except Myatchi and any angel dog in the Army of Heaven folder) make an offer. I’ll try to see if I can let go of these designs.

If I say no, please don’t get angry hhhng

This is a test thing tbh

City of Leo: Gangs

The City of Leo is a generally safe city...mostly. There are many areas that are "segregated" based on species; the majority of felines live in the north, canines in the south, humanoids in the east, and so on. The city has their fair share of crime and the biggest issue associated with crime are the gangs. Here's some of the better known gangs (names are a WIP):

1) West wind demons: Home to many people of demon descent. Known for their weapon-dealing.

2)Arulian angels: Those of angel descent flock to this gang. Known for making and selling a drug called "angel's tears", which is highly addictive

3) Iveria: More of a dangerous extremist group led by half-spirits who are shunned by society. Known to cause huge and dangerous demonstrations in the name of "liberating half-spirits". They are a new and quickly growing by recruiting young and vunerable half-spirit teenagers and young adults.

There are other smaller gangs of hooligans and many big familes have clans, some more violent than others, such as the Mayette (kitsune) clan.

Hey guys!

So I've been feeling super depressed and uninspired and I won't bore you with the details.

So how about asking me a couple of questions about the City of Leo so I can flesh out some characters and world building?

Ask me about:

-Certain characters (their relationships, hobbies, love life, etc)

-World building questions (races, magic, etc)

City of Leo Lore: Elements

What's your element?

0 Votes Earth
1 Votes Fire
0 Votes Water
0 Votes Light
1 Votes Dark
0 Votes Electricity
0 Votes Wind

Everyone in the mortal world, Heaven and Hell have an element. These elements decide the person's efficiency with certain spells and give characters certain traits exclusive to their element alone. There are 7 elements:

Fire: Fire elemental folk don't get burned as easily from natural fires or fire magic. Firefighters are usually of the fire or water element.

Earth: Usually blessed with strong defense and some have specialized skills with plants. An earth elemental gardener is not uncommon and they dominate the farming industry

Wind: Usually blessed with a lot of agility. Can withstand storms longer than most so this element is perfect for emergency disaster relief in the middle of a storm.

Water: Can specialize in ice powers. Also natural strong swimmers, even without lessons. Great lifeguards

Dark: Have stronger resistance to poisons. Many chemists are of the dark element

Light: Like the water element, can specialize in healing magic. Many nurses and doctors are of the light/water elements

Electricity: A more rare element to be born under. It's not rare to have an electric elemental create new machines and technologies (technology and magic coexist in these worlds)

Your element determines how compatible you are with a spirit. A fire mage is stronger with a fire spirit and would be incompatible with a water spirit. To find out someone's element, there are tests taken in elementary school. No one can tell someone's element just by looking for the most part. Elements aren't necessarily genetic either. While it's more likely for a light element will give birth to a light element, there are chances to have a child of a different element. It is possible to have two element proficiencies, there can be a more dominant element, like a more dominant writing hand.

Scientists are still trying to understand what makes someone be born in an element and why.

City of Leo Lore: Heaven and Hell

Where would you like to reside in?

1 Votes Heaven
0 Votes Hell
0 Votes Mortal World
2 Votes Detroit

In this world, there are two main places where spirits dwell: Heaven and Hell.

Heaven consists of angels and spirits while Hell has demons and spirits.

Angels and demons are citizens of Heaven/Hell that have a long lifespan but are easier to kill than spirits (but still hard for mortals to kill without the proper tools). Angels and demons age VERY slowly; they can live for millenias and are in charge of preventing spirits from sneaking into the mortal world and preventing outside spirits from entering a realm they don't belong to. Angels and demons have their own societies within their realms and tend to stick to their own realms.

A few stray angels/demons can be banished from their homes for breaking their laws and hide in the mortal world. However, being outside of their realms is like a death sentence; they are usually found and hunted in the mortal world (it is said angel/demon blood grants immortality) and if they do survive, their lifespan is usually cut short. No one knows why but being outside of heaven/hell causes angels and demons to slowly waste away. There are rumors that killing mortals and drinking their blood helps elongate a demon or angel's lifespan, but killing a mortal is considered the most heinous crime in both realms.

Like spirits, angels and demons can have children with mortals. Half angels and half demons live a normal lifespan and don't show any special abilities and are extremely hard to tell from a regular mortal. They usually don't know their demon/angel parent simply due to the fact that the parent usually dies before or quickly after the child is born. There is very little discrimination directed towards demon/angelic children outside of the usual racist bully. Angels and demons usually live for about 4 years outside of their realm.

(Every once in a while, the ruler of Heaven and the ruler of Hell meet to discuss their treaties. Heaven and Hell have a truce but the treaty always seemed strained.)

City Of Leo Lore: Kitsunes

Posted 3 years, 2 months ago by WorldOfYentri

There are two types of kitsunes: Pure Kitsunes and Mortal Kitsunes

Pure Kitsunes are spirits that have usually 9 forms, one for each tail, but they tend to stay in their feral form (four legs are better than two apparently). Pure kitsunes look down on mortal kitsunes or "impure kitsunes" as they call them and don't want anything to do with their mortal cousins.

Mortal kitsunes are considered half-spirits. They have ancestry to pure kitsunes but somewhere along the line mixed with mortals so they have a mortal lifespan. Average lifespan is 200 years. Although rare, they can form contracts with spirits.

Unlike other half-spirits, kitsunes are highly regarded in society, which makes them hated by "lesser" half-spirits. Mortal kitsunes tend to have power and money. Some say the stigma was erased from them due to a legendary warrior that saved a village in ancient times. There are many kitsune actors and musicians and other famous entertainment stars, yet there are none in the political landscape.

Mortal Kitsunes aren't always born with 9 tails. The more tails you have, the higher your status. A single tailed kitsune is deemed lesser than a 9 or 5 tailed one. It is really hard for a lower ranking kitsune to climb the social ladder in their clan.

Kitsunes and foxes are different and hate how they are confused for each other.

I'M SORRY MY NOTES ARE EVERYWHERE AAAAA...

City of Leo

The most diverse city in the country (name of country TBA). Humans and non-humans alike coexist along with spirits: virtually immortal otherworldly beings who form contracts with mortals for various reasons. During the war between Heaven and Hell, spirits from both sides found a way to sneak into the mortal world and form contracts with mortals, thus doubling both the spirit’s and mortal’s power. One millennia later, the tradition of contracts still exists but for a peaceful era, the purposes are different: some bond over friendship, others for entertainment purposes (i.e. Leonian Tournament), and others for help with day to day tasks (i.e. those with disabilities or just help around the house) and so on. The contract ends once the mortal dies or some powerful magic splits the spirit and mortal apart.

Finding a spirit to form a bond with is no easy task. There are expensive services that help find the right match for spirits and mortals and sometimes spirits appear when they sense a great sense of desire. The situation varies.

It is law that a spirit has to show their halo when in the mortal world, so they can be told apart from mortals. Spirits can’t legally be in the mortal world without forming a Rite of Passage. Think of it as spiritual immigration services. Mortals who can’t afford legal means of getting a spirit sometimes try to use old fashioned summon circles and rituals, which can lead to catastrophic results (don’t do it on your own, you might summon Satan 2.0 who wants to wreak havoc or nothing can happen)

There are cases where spirits fall in love with a mortal and have a child called a half-spirit. At birth, the child will have a half halo and then doctors will have to magically mark the child so others can tell a half-spirit from a regular mortal. Those that have half-spirit children are shunned from society and half-spirits are also shunned from society, with very few exceptions. As the half-spirit gets older, they’ll be able to control showing their halo, around age 13 or so. Half-spirits have a longer lifespan than regular mortals and they have a harder time controlling their powers, which makes them feared. Many are denied jobs outside of military purposes. Most spirits can't form contracts with other spirits so forming a contract with a half-spirit is near impossible.
