Hey there! I'm looking to take a discounted Shimeji commission before I formally accept them!

Shimejis are an open source desktop pet you can interact with! You can download the original Shimeji Here on Kilkakon's Website! You can download Rogar's Shimeji (shown above) along with three others From My Store for free! I recommend you do so if you're interested in commissioning me to see what you'll be getting from me.

I am not responsible if the shimeji will not run on your computer. It is up to you to download and make sure your pc can run the shimejis before you commission me. You are paying me for custom art and my time editing the files, not the program itself or help troubleshooting. An internet search will be way more helpful than me. When I first downloaded shimeji it didn't work, I updated java, and it worked. If you have problems beyond that I genuinely have no idea, so don't ask me.

I'm looking to make a shimeji of a simple, symetrical quadraped/feral character who does not have wings or antigravity powers. Or if they do to not use them. I'm wanting to work on wall and ceiling crawl animations along with a bounce animation.

Your commission will include all of the actions above along with a jump frame and a pet frame. You can pet your shimeji when it sits down by clicking on its head! Your commission will also include an extra frame of motion for the sit action for an idle animation (like tail movement!).

The Free Action will be a 7 frame animation of whatever you want (given it is not too complex).

The Duplicate action is 5 frames of a duplication action of your choice.

Future

If you're interested in shimejis or my work with them, please keep in mind that when I formally open shimeji commissions I will offer affordences/interactions between different shimejis (like how my linked shimes can all hug eachother!). I also plan to eventually release a dragon shimeji base utilizing the same sketch for my dragon ocs. I am still unsure whether it will be free or a few dollars pay to use.

Shimejis also have a lot of actions available to them that I haven't explored yet, like grabbing a character by the tail and transformation, which I plan to explore in the future to offer in my commissions.
