The story still follows most of the events of the manga, with slight changes to certain character backstories and with an alternate ending. Our main protagonists are Eren and Taylor, a pair of young women disguised as men aiming to win the Steel Ball Run. Eren wants to win the prize money to help immigrants like herself live comfortably in the United States while Taylor assists her so the two can get married at the end. The reason Taylor wants to get married is so she can escape from her old life back in England and have a new start in America. However, both of their pasts catch up with them in the form of Emil who was sent to kill them---Taylor specifically.

The pair occasionally clash with Johnny and Gyro as well, but are on relatively good terms with them. They also end up clashing with Diego whom they are more competitive against since he has a history with Taylor. Though they get involved in the world of Stands, they focus more on the race and evading Emil instead of the Holy Corpse. With their addition to the story, they prevent certain events from happening, and it ultimately ends with Taylor winning second place and Eren winning fifth.
