Aweee! hellooo! thank you so much dear! ;v; ) my parakeet is called Zulibine, for the cockatiels i have two named paco since one of them was gifted to me with that name so i just call one paquito for a difference, the other two are lutino mutatios so one is called Tofu and the other one quesita like cheese in spanish lol, and the lovebirds are Blazi and lola ♥ thanks a lot for asking for my babies ;7; ) do you have some birbos too?? ♥
Duuude those are all such cute names! Zulibine is so pretty. How’s you come up with that name? Also lovebirds and cockatiels were both two of three parrots I was trying to decide on for my first bird. So precious. Do any of your tiels talk or sing?
I have one bird I got this summer! She’s a turquoise pied parrotlet named Meadow. When I first got her she was all turquoise with a few white patches, but now she’s having her first molt and is coming up in brilliant greens. She’s a gorgeous bird. Love her to pieces.
Ohoooo Zulibine's name has quite the history, this was him when he was a baby https://www.instagram.com/p/BR1jgHTlAY6/ i thought he was a girl but grew up to become a handsome boy ♥ the thing is that his name is a mix of a blue parakeet i had more than a decade ago called Zuli, that comes from a weird dimituve of the color blue but in spanish that is azul, and from a white parakeet called Albine that i lost years ago because he flew away while i was not in home and my brother was supossed to be taken care off, the thing is that for some reason i though Albine was the english translation for Albino???? i ended up calling the baby like a mdf bee in romanian LOL so well, Zulibine comes from those two names cuz he looks like the sky, being blue and white and reminding me of both of my precious babies at the same time that are not with me anymore ♥ i talk so much ughh sorry, i really love them ;-; ) and my tiels sing but they all know the same songs since they are always together, the songs from ones were learned by the ones that were gifted to me, so they all know la cucaracha, a weird whistle that i don't know how is called but is veeeery common and is used to flirt? and another tune that literally sounds like a car alarm between some mixed that they invented somehow.
