I used to watch his performances when I was younger. He inspired me to visit Oberon in the first place, and now I play the banjo.

Ah, Bard, I remember the meeting at the library, watching the little village cat search through the section of epic poems and literature. It is so rare for someone to have such an interest in being a bard. And so, I did my thing to help. Though never asked or said aloud, I could see their struggle, thus the lute I had previously found and owned now in their paws.
My parents never supported me for who I was and wanted to be. Never did I think a mere stranger in the library would be the one to support me more than my own family. Heh. Even now, I forever give Oberon my gratitude. That lute was my step forward.
Bard is a lovely village cat. I only wish he'd open up more and buy more of my treats, I know he enjoys them more than he admits.
He's annoyingly sweet. Verily, it's disgusting. But alas, no one can resist his accidental charm and sugary treats, not even I.
