Hello, everyone!

I am writing this bulletin to announce a big update I've made to my OCs' pages. Sending a notification for each character with relevant changes could be annoying, so I thought it would be better to announce it this way and let everyone check whatever is of interest to them.

First of all, all pages have undergone changes in terms of lore, including edits to certain place names, races, and other details. Some of the names are still considered placeholders and may change in the future, but I wanted to make the general edits already. The reason for this is that I wanted to distance myself a little from the initial world I used as base and make it more original. Apart from the name changes, the characters' stories have hardly been edited, so there's no need to reread them.

Secondly, all characters who didn't have a surname have been given one. Previously, only characters from important families had surnames. It's not a very relevant detail, but I wanted to mention it.

Now, regarding more important modifications: the design of a large number of characters has been updated. This is because I have changed the physical differentiation of the human nobility, now being that the characters of noble blood have the mark of the Moon Goddess engraved in their eyes. Therefore, I have edited the designs of both the human characters who previously had white hair and those who didn’t. In addition to these characters, a few have had smaller tweaks to improve the design or the original drawing (Naoko, Selynnia, Narael, and Nordock).

Four new characters have also been added: Cedric von Hayrim, Vivienne von Hayrim, Eleanor von Hayrim and Rowena Voight. Also a small lore page to provide some basic context about the Mark of the Moon.

In addition, Graham von Hayrim's page has been greatly expanded and was converted from a simple page to a complete one. This one is recommended to reread to complement those of the new characters, as the relationships between them play a big role in their plot.

That's all for now. The truth is that the update has taken me a long time and I'm a little exhausted, but I'm glad I did it because it's been like taking a weight off my shoulders. I'm also happy to see the improvement between the newer characters and some of the older ones, both in terms of character quality and depth, as well as in the designs and my writing (which is still nothing spectacular, but at least it has reached the point where I myself can see an improvement).

I hope to continue expanding this world little by little, both in terms of characters and lore, although the truth is that I am very new to worldbuilding and there are many things that I don't understand or get lost in. I don't plan on writing a novel or anything like that, but I also didn't want to abandon the characters that I have grown so fond of. I really hope to be able to draw them more in the future, but sometimes between work and my tendonitis it's difficult (and, to be honest, I procrastinate a little too).

Escribo este boletín con motivo de una gran actualización que he hecho a las fichas de mis OCs. Enviar una notificación por cada personaje con cambios relevantes podía resultar molesta, así que preferí anunciarlo de esta manera y ya que cada uno mire lo que le interese.

En primer lugar, todas las fichas han tenido cambios respecto al lore, lo que incluye cambios de ciertos nombres de lugares, razas u otros. Parte de los nombres aún están considerados provisionales y puede que los cambie a futuro, pero quería realizar ya la edición general. La razón de esto es porque quería separarme un poco del mundo inicial que usé de base y volverlo algo más original. Quitando los cambios de nombres, las historias de los personajes y demás no han sido casi editadas, así que tampoco es necesario volver a leerlas.

En segundo lugar, se le ha puesto apellido a todos los personajes que no tenían uno. Antes, solo los personajes que provenían de familias importantes tenían apellido. No es un detalle muy relevante, pero quería mencionarlo.

Ahora, respecto a cambios más importantes: se ha actualizado el diseño de una buena parte de los personajes. Esto se debe a que he cambiado la diferenciación física de la nobleza humana, siendo ahora que los personajes de sangre noble tienen en los ojos la marca de la Diosa Lunar. Por lo tanto, he editado los diseños tanto de los personajes humanos que antes tenían el pelo blanco, como los que no. Además de estos personajes, unos pocos han tenido retoques más pequeños para mejorar el diseño o el dibujo original (Naoko, Selynnia, Narael y Nordock).

También se han añadido cuatro nuevos personajes: Cedric von Hayrim, Vivienne von Hayrim, Eleanor von Hayrim y Rowena Voight. Además de una pequeña página de lore para proveer de un poco de contexto básico sobre la Marca de la Luna.

Además, se ha ampliado en gran medida la página de Graham von Hayrim y se ha convertido de una ficha simple a una completa. Esta sí se recomienda releer para complementar las de los nuevos personajes, ya que las relaciones entre ellos juegan un gran papel en su trama.

Esto es todo por ahora. La verdad es que la actualización me ha tomado mucho tiempo y estoy un poco agotada, pero me alegro de haberlo hecho porque ha sido como quitarme un peso. También me alegra ver la mejoría entre los personajes más actuales y algunos antiguos, tanto en la calidad y profundidad del personaje como en los diseños o mi nivel de escritura (que sigue sin ser nada del otro mundo, pero al menos ha llegado al punto en el que yo misma noto mejoría). Espero poder seguir ampliando más este mundo poco a poco, tanto personajes como piezas de lore, aunque la verdad es que soy muy novata respecto al worldbuilding y hay muchas cosas con las que me pierdo o no entiendo bien. No planeo hacer una novela ni nada por el estilo, pero tampoco quería abandonar a los personajes que tanto cariño les he cogido. Espero de verdad poder dibujarlos más en el futuro, pero a veces entre el trabajo y mi tendinitis está complicado (y, para que mentir, un poco de procrastinación también).
