tumblr_static_tumblr_static_6wnefkpnay8sLUKA | LAVENDER

purity, silence, devotion, caution, serenity, grace, calm.
The English word lavender is generally believed to be derived from Old French lavandre, which itself is ultimately derived from the Latin lavare (to wash).
In pillows, lavender seeds and flowers aid sleep and relaxation.
While purple is the color of royalty, and pink the color of youth, lavender is femininity all grown up. It represents refinement, grace, and elegance. Lavender holds a sacred place in nature, and with its violet flowers is often considered the most delicate and precious.

strength, moral integrity, infatuation, faithfulness, never giving up.
They are sometimes referred to a sword flowers or sword lilies due to the sword-like shape of both the foliage and the flower spike. The flower spire is said to pierce the heart of the recipient with love. Love at first sight is one of the meanings attached to this blossom.
Yellow – Cheerfulness and compassion
Some say that gladiators wore gladiolus corms around their necks during battles to help them win and protect them from death.

Marigold-Meaning.jpg

BAMBI | MARIGOLD

warmth, ambition, jealousy, winning affections through hard work, promoting cheer.
Even the humblest creations contain their own special beauty to share with the world. Just like the sun returns in full each summer and hides away in the winter, you must find your own balance between shining and keeping your light under wraps.
Expressing your jealousy when trapped in a love triangle
It can mean to show strong passion, being associated with the legendary brave and courageous lion.
Marigolds are edible flowers, with a taste similar to saffron.

white-peony-bouquet.jpgORLANDO | PEONY

familial honor, love, bashfulness, shame.
Greek myth says that nymphs used to hide their naked forms in Peonies to shield them from prying eyes.
White or Very Pale Pink: Focusing on the bashful aspect of the Peony’s meaning, making it a good choice for communicating your regret over embarrassing yourself or someone else.
Remember how your actions reflect on yourself and others, and always strive to act honorably and respectfully. Don’t be afraid to apologize if you make a mistake, and share your love with others to improve their lives as well.
Peonies sometimes attract ants; it is a common myth that peonies require ants to bloom.

Dandelion-Meaning.jpgALESSI | DANDELION

survival, healing, new beginnings, emotional intelligence, warmth.
Since the Dandelion can thrive in difficult conditions, it is no wonder that people say the flower symbolizes the ability to rise above life’s challenges. Most modern admirers consider it a symbol of fighting through the challenges of life and emerging victorious on the other side. Others use it as a visual reminder of the sun’s power, especially when depression or grief makes it hard to stay sunny.
Ever since country folk have been stirring pots over fires, dandelion teas have been a'brewing for the purpose of calming nerves, and promoting a sense of well-being.

Azalea-1.jpgSIENA | AZALEA

taking care of your family, fondness for home, temperance, feminine beauty.
"Take care of yourself, for me."
Despite being an overwhelmingly positive plant, Azaleas still have a dark side due to the association with death threats.
Japanese and Chinese gardeners considered it a sweet reminder of the time spent at home instead.
Care for yourself and those around you. Never forget where you came from, and stay in control of your emotions and actions for success in life.
