I think I gotta explain the game first, HOURS is a roblox game (you can play it here) and it’s a roguelite where you play as a character called a “host” and you use time powers called “tempos” to help you defeat enemies. the game itself is very short, most of the appeal comes from trying new combinations of hosts and tempos to speedrun the game. HOURS itself has almost no official lore excluding everything the game’s creator has said on Discord. 

however… on April 12th 2022 I read what little backstory info there was about a host called Vestige and somehow got a hyperfixation on him soooo I’ve been making my own fanmade stuff ever since then. you are TOTALLY free to use whatever fanmade hours lore I share on Toyhouse if you make an hours oc!! just link it to this so I know. (I have so much infodumping to do though argghfhfhffhdj) 

you should totally check the HOURS wiki for design and ability reference stuff but for designs the basic requirements are a glowing symbol for their face and (IF THEY’RE A HOST) a 7-letter name. from there you could do pretty much anything. 

host abilities are difficult for me to talk about since I haven’t played hours in months but I think if you give them abilities, you require a passive, m1, m2, shift, and Q ability, then 30 obtainable upgrades iirc. tempos aren’t exclusive to any host so you don’t really need to worry about it.
(edit: it’s probably less than 30 upgrades but you probably don’t need to worry about them anyways if you aren’t concerned about how the character would work ingame)
