Hi! I basically never use TH anymore but I thought I’d dust it off in case anyone is still subscribed. I made a visual novel! 

It’s called Menage a Trois and it’s about Sol and Chet… in college! It’s cute and fun and there’s a football player there too.

Hey all! Hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe.

I’m posting this bulletin as I’ve noticed a few instances where a watermark is being placed over my art using Toyhouse’s watermarking tool.

Especially for personalized watermarks, I’d like to request that this does not happen in the future.

I’m aware that this is common practice in Toyhouse culture, or at least has become more common from when I first joined the site. I’ve done quite a bit of thinking on how I feel about it, and ultimately, it is not how I want my art to be shared. Toyhouse is a place where people browse character and user galleries, and I want people to be able to enjoy my work in its entirety.

The location and size of a watermark can obscure details or change the composition of a piece, such as if it is in a very obtrusive location. Tiled watermarks in particular make it hard to decipher the original image because of how much it covers. As a result, there is a significant difference between the nature of the original art and what viewers see. I would like to avoid situations where my work is misrepresented by a watermark I have no control over. 

I understand that theft is a concern, and if that is the case, please reach out to me so I can give a version of the art with my own watermark on it. This way, I am able to ensure the image being posted maintains my artistic integrity. 

Going forward, I hope my wishes can be respected! I won’t be contacting anyone I’ve drawn for in the past, but please keep this as a courtesy for future uploads.
