About the Artist
I'm a writer and character artist with a passion for speculative fiction, especially fantasy. I have multiple story works in progress that will be published as books or comics; these are the source of all of my OCs, so they aren't ever available to be sold or traded. When I'm not writing or drawing for my stories, I'm usually playing video games, listening to music, reading books or comics, or watching and over-analyzing television. I'm still uploading all of my many characters and sorting out their references and profiles (and probably...will be in the process of doing so for a long time lol), so a lot of things will be hidden until they're tidied up. But if you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to ask - rambling about my characters and stories is one of my favorite things! xD
I draw both traditional and digital art - I originally did only traditional art for years before largely switching over to digital around 2021, but I still do traditional pieces and want to work on my colored pencil and painting skills. I'm open to art trades and collabs, but as I do have chronic health problems that slow down my art energies, it will just depend on where I'm at with my personal art agenda and symptoms. But I do love to be asked and will give a time frame on when I expect to be available if I'm not when it's first proposed to me!
Also, some information ends up on Art Fight instead of Toyhouse and vice versa until I get around to cross referencing everything, so checking both if you're able is the best way to get Maximum Information on them.
Likes: Fantasy manga, superheroes, drawing my OCs, outfit design, playing video games, sweet beverages, detailed magic systems, music and dance.
Dislikes: Romance, grimdark, really bitter or sour foods, boredom, art/writing block.
Art Preferences: I don't have a consistent favorite character or story, but I do love to write or draw angst, interaction pieces, humor or 'crackfic' type pieces, dance art, song memes or references, general memes, detailed outfits, limited palette pieces, pride art, and floral motifs.
My Folders/Stories
In an isolated, post-apocalyptic city, magic has been lost to humans for centuries. City-states all individually rebuilt themselves, but with so many people desperate for different kinds of stability, corruption ran rampant. Mindless specters haunt the streets at night, and humanity haunts them during the day. Within the city limits, four teenagers from different backgrounds realize their world might be changing drastically when evidence from an old, unsolved massacre starts cropping up along with a new string of murders. Magic may have returned to humanity, and it might not be a good thing.
(A YA urban fantasy novel series planned to be two duologies. One of my oldest and most prioritized stories!)
Centuries ago, a dark sorceress betrayed her best friend and tore a rift between the human realm and the Otherworld - a spiritual realm full of ghosts and other paranormal entities. Erin, the spurned best friend, gathered four other sorceresses she felt she could still trust and forged five magic crystals, each one a raw manifestation of certain aspects of the universe. In each crystal lived a small, octopus shaped spirit who held domain over the aspects of their crystal, and allowed the sorceresses to wield their magic in a far more powerful way than any could solo. While the group of friends was able to defeat the evil sorceress and close the Rift between worlds, it was an imperfect job - the tear in reality could only be stitched together, not fully sealed.
In the present day, the Rift has opened once again, and new threats are emerging from it. The crystal spirits choose five new hosts, none of which are nearly as equipped personally or magically as their predecessors to be fighting paranormal threats as a team, and hope things will somehow end better for their humans and themselves than they did the first time.
(Adult paranormal fantasy intended to be a five season animated series or voiced comic. Probably my second most fixated on series.)
The story takes place in a semi-medieval fantasy world and focuses on two kingdoms that are at odds. Our protagonists reside in the kingdom of Pheyemore, known as the Kingdom of the Dead due its royal family all being necromancers. There's a large, partially segregated community of undead citizens, who tend to be treated as slightly lower class. Pheyemore's enemy kingdom is Pagaetha, known as the Holy Kingdom. Necromancy among other things is forbidden there, and it is said that long ago Pheyemore was formed from a large community of Pagaethan outcasts setting out and making their own community that grew into a kingdom.
Our main heroes, Celix and Cressa, are the titular rogue and wizard, respectively. The former grew up among the undead, the latter is a noblewoman who fled her home when it became apparent she was to be held prisoner for all her life. The pair are determined to forge their own life together, and want to become wealthy and respected on their own terms. Currently, they have a minor job in the palace due to gaining favor with the prince, and are aiming to reach the top and gain true respect within the court.
(Adult high fantasy dramedy intended to be a buddy movie + tv series.)
Frozen Hearts and Molten Souls
The paranormal underground tries to keep itself secret from the ordinary humans, but this becomes increasingly difficult as the Shadow Parasites - entities born from the cold that live in a person's shadow and slowly freezes them inside out whenever they're afraid, unless magically tamed and made into a Shadow Servant - begin acting strangely and getting out of control.
The story is ensemble cast, led initially by an investigator who has no supernatural powers, but knows that the supernatural exists, looking into the issue of the Shadow Parasites and becoming increasingly embroiled in the unique supernatural communities that make up her city as she uncovers more of the truth.
(Adult urban fantasy inspired by the TTRPG 'Urban Shadows'.)
Liora is a regular teen who is granted super strength and access to the mysterious and dreaded Chaos Magic by a magical sword. The sword houses the soul of its last owner inside it, a telepathic ghost named Fiorre, who acts as Liora's reluctant guide into superheroics as new dangers arise.
(YA superhero story intended to be a comic series with an Origin Story novella. My oldest active story!)
In this world, powerful humans with the ability of spatial manipulation are responsible for maintaining the physics of the reality they built over the mysterious, broken 'Void' of their ancient world. The world itself is unstable, so sudden shifts in geography and physics near the weak points in the spatial upkeep are common. People with a wide range of super powers exist, but are closely monitored by those in charge due to the risk they could pose to the world's stability.
L&Z: Zark and Luna, two enslaved supers who learn many secrets their government has been hiding in their quest for freedom.
Maverick Starlings: A team of illegal teenage superheroes with dangerous powers who are on the run from the officials while trying to learn about themselves and their abilities.
Defense Legion: Mix of prequel stories, and stories following the illegal adult superhero team who form to investigate threats to the world's stability (and the secrets surrounding it) and be a beacon of hope for the outcasts of their world. (Act as mentors to the Starlings, and generally have more resources)
Mirror Verse: A mysterious alternate realm that exists on the other side of a certain magic mirror, a stable world in which those with powers still exist, and can even become celebrities.
(A mix of YA and adult superhero stories, some more sci-fi or horror or fantasy influenced than others. Intended to be written as multiple interconnected book and/or comic series.)
Rashae has only ever known the utopic life of Lerance Hollow, an isolated city surrounded by forests. The last remnants of humanity after an apocalyptic event thousands of years past, they follow a strict set of social rules and principles to keep the peace, discouraging any deviation from the norm. Rashae is extra careful to follow these rules to the letter - her birth parents were rebels who threatened the peace and had to be removed from the city, and though she was adopted by lawful citizens, that reputation has followed her throughout her life.
During every citizen's coming of age ceremony, one goes into the forest and is granted a single magical power by the mystical, alien species known as the Ronais. Rashae was looking forward to a simple life with her assigned marriage partner and best friend doing something like cooking or making soaps like her parents. But when she touches the power-granting tree guarded and powered by the Ronais, something goes wrong - she sees painful visions of war and death, and wakes to find she was given two abilities: one to destroy that which she touches, and one to gleam the history of any object she touches and focuses on.
Nothing like this has ever happened in the recorded history of Lerance Hollow, leaving Rashae lost as to what to do except eventually look to the Ronais and the mysterious human that appeared deep in the uninhabitated forests for answers, uncovering far darker secrets about her society than she could have ever imagined.
(Adult fantasy mystery intended as a standalone novel with potential for a sequel.)
Two mages from very different backgrounds find themselves investigating the same haunted house - a 'Living' house that has gone out of control and started to harm the environment around it, but is said to house the magical Gateway to Anywhere. The duo must decide if they are going to compete to tame the house and take ownership of the Gateway, or work together to save the damaged soul at the heart of the Living House.
(Adult fantasy intended to be a short story or novella, likely followed by more short stories or novellas.)
Art Trade Permissions
DO NOT:
- Draw sexual or sexually suggestive art of my characters.
- Draw them nude.
- Draw them dead or with body horror or with bodily fluids (some blood for minor injuries is okay).
- Draw them in overtly romantic or hyper-sensual poses (kissing, lying on or over each other, intimate cuddling, seductive or seductive-adjacent poses)
- Drawn them showing non-consensual affection (hugs that make one party uncomfortable, that sort of thing).
- Racebend my characters (this includes no whitewashing)
- Genderbend my characters
- Draw anything bigoted with my fellas
- Draw my characters harming each other or being harmed by your characters (in general, for oc interactions between characters with no pre-established relationship, I prefer it to not be too negative. New OC relationships are best kept superficially positive, see note below on the 'allowed' section.)
- Draw my characters drunk or consuming alcohol.
FEEL FREE TO:
- Draw them with minor injuries or in various states of mental distress
- Experiment with clothing - I find seeing new outfits exciting! Really the only universal no for outfits would be 'stereotypical Sexy Female Armor' type designs. Anything else that doesn't go against character-specific permissions is fine! Also, any outfit you see in their gallery that I designed is free real estate, and in most cases any outfit in their gallery designed by others is too (you can ask if you're unsure).
- Experiment with hair styles - preferably in more minor ways unless you're drawing for an AU, but as long as I can recognize the character easily still you're probably fine.
- Draw AU versions of my fellas - like a Pirate AU, or a Star Wars AU. (Or alternatively, the prime verse characters just cosplaying lol) This also applies to, like...if there's a character in a modern day setting, but you want to draw what you think their retro or vintage or other alternative era-specific fashion would be, that's completely fine! (Same with drawing characters in a less modern setting in modern clothes if you're feeling it)
- For any of my characters who have magic/superpowers/etc., you're allowed (and encouraged!) to experiment with drawing their powers however you like. I really like seeing people's takes on them! I include in the character profiles any details I care about being accurate, everything else is a free for all.
- Draw them with other of my OCs (some are from the same story, and I describe their relationships, but crossovers are totally fine too)
- Draw them with your OCs - just keep the interaction at a casual friend level and generally lighthearted. I'm okay with other kinds of OC&OC relationships, but anything closer or more complex than that I'd want to be consulted about so details can be Accurate to my fellas (there's a lot of writing-specific info for them that just isn't on their profiles anywhere, plus having real close oc relationships with someone I don't really know at all can be uncomfy).
- Draw them with others' OCs (okay to include them in mass attacks)
- Draw any type of piece tone wise - memes, angst, action, Pride Arts; I'm fine with mostly any kind of tone/atmosphere!
- Have characters interact/show certain kinds of consensual physical affection: hugging, hand holding, sitting back to back, mild cuddling, forehead touches, partner dancing, that kind of level of affection. (I don't distinguish heavily between platonic affection and shippy affection for my own OCs, these loose guidelines apply to any of my characters aside from character-specific permissions)
- Tweak the exact shade of a character's color scheme to fit the mood/tone/style of the art piece. Non-literal colors, highlights, or shading is okay too. (The only caveat here is once again no whitewashing)
The only exceptions to any of these are character specific and will be clarified on the character's profile.

I'm not sure how active I'll be this year, since health and energy are so up and down. But I'm still really excited to participate as much as I can! So, I still filled out my team card, because I find it fun. :)

Aw yay, I'm so glad you like! :D Drawing Wren was so fun, I got excited when I saw she had a bunch of info on her profile to look through lol. Lore is always the most exciting to take inspiration from for me!

I like how you have a bunch of outfits designed for a lot of your ocs, this is goals :^)

Ah thank you! ^_^
Honestly, it mostly comes from 1/2 dress up game addiction and 1/2 short attention span for art repetition, so I rarely draw the same outfit twice by default if it's not a super outfit/uniform of some kind slkdjf. xD
