「World」

This world, gifted to the Goddess of Ambitions to look after and love, is populated mostly by humans with supernatural abilities tied to their true ambitions.
The Goddess soon began to wish to become human, to experience a human's life, to feel how it is to have a human's ambition.

Upon gaining permission to do so, she seals her godly abilities, and gave herself a human body. Now, born as Mabelle Beryl, a human's life is not that easy.
The world is no longer watched over by The Goddess, and became a vulnerable hunting ground of immoral gods.
The God of Punishment now takes humans as they please, and the Solless have infected the world.

「Seesaw City」

A large city on the coast, famous for their successful entertainment companies, cultivating the ambitions of the world. Due to the loud ambitions of their souls, Solless have been attracted to the city. Multiple organizations have been created to fight the Solless, such as Edelweiss Agency and Solace Laboratory.

「Solless」

The Solless are just that, Soulless. They are large inky viruses created by the Goddess of Plague out of spite after the Doomsday War.
The Solless are programmed to seek out what they don't have, Souls. Their efforts are to no avail, as they sap soul energy upon touch.
Victims of Solless are no longer existing, impossible to get back.

The Solless are a universe-wide issue, however this world is a particularly loved destination for them, because of the ambitions of the people, the souls are that much louder.
The Solless problem continues to grow at a rate that gods themselves cannot handle.
