THESE TERMS OF SERVICE ARE EFFECTIVE AS OF 2 / 26 / 22. CHARACTERS THAT ARE OLDER THAN THIS DATE DO NOT FALL UNDER THIS RESTRICTION BECAUSE THEY WERE MADE BEFORE THESE STIPULATIONS WERE IMPLEMENTED. IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU FOLLOWED THEM REGARDLESS OF TIME, THOUGH.

1. ADOPTS / CUSTOMS

- UNLESS it falls under the scrutiny of a closed species' redesign rules, you are free to redesign any of my designs if you would like. theyre your designs, youre free to do what you want with them. HOWEVER, my ONLY request is that if a character is transgender, they stay trans. if you turn one of my trans designs cis, ill blacklist you. im serious about this. this also goes for whitewashing. dont fuckin do it bro.
- please dont edit my work without my permission. if youd like to make edits to the original design (via making tweaks to my original ref created for them), always let me know first. and ... dont add yourself as one of the creator(s) of the image if youre making minor edits to it. youre allowed to put a footnote in the comments section that states you altered the original design, but its kind of rude to superimpose yourself as the creator of a design you made very small changes to.
- youre totally allowed to make my designs into closed species characters ! i dont have any problem with that. i do ask, though, that you resell / trade / gift the design along with any closed species alternate versions it may have.
- DO NOT, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, take my characters and hide them. i will blacklist you. it makes me incredibly uncomfortable to not know where my characters are and what the person who owns them is doing with them. it also prevents me from making sure that the blacklist is being properly upheld. if youd like to hide a character / design of mine for the purpose of preventing theft via blockchain / opensea, authorize me first. this is non-negotiable.
- payment is and will always be expected up-front for adopts. i dont have any problem with holding for extended periods of time, but i will put them back off of hold if you ghost me / do not keep up with updates. for customs, half-payment will be received up-front, and the other half is expected to be paid after a low-res version of the finished product is presented. you will then receive the high-quality finished product after the second payment is met. failure to meet the first payment will result in refusal of acceptance, and failure to meet the second payment will result in you not getting the character, and the character being re-sold to someone else. you do not get your money back.
- i refuse to allow my designs to be used to represent such as racism, bigotry, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia. applying these traits to characters in their personality is fine, so long as it is not romanticized.
- i have no problems with my characters being used for sexual purposes, and i dont have any issue with them being used for fetish content, either. ch/ld p/rnography and romanticization of s/xual a//ault with use of my designs is prohibited and will grant you a one-way ticket to the blacklist.
- UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE MY DESIGNS TO BE UPSOLD OR TREATED LIKE TRADE FODDER. YOU WILL BE BLACKLISTED IF YOU PURCHASE ONE OF MY CHARACTERS WITH THE EXPLICIT PURPOSE OF UPSELLING IT OR TRADING IT TO SOMEONE ELSE IN EXCHANGE FOR A CHARACTER OF HIGHER VALUE. higher value may be applied to a design IF AND ONLY IF it has commissioned works and personal artwork that you can apply worth onto it with. my designs are very personal to me and it deeply upsets and disturbs me when theyre traded around as if theyre seen as material items. dont fucking buy my characters if you dont want to at least try to keep them as permanent fixtures of your account. if a trade / resell is initiated within 1 (one) week of owning the design, youll be put on my watchlist. if this behavior is habitualized, youll be blacklisted.

2. COMMISSIONS / GENERAL ART

- use of the artwork commissioned from me is entirely up to your discretion. you paid for it, youre allowed to use it however youd like. this includes commercially. however, i would like to know beforehand if youd be using my work for commercial purposes.
- removal of my signature is prohibited under any and all circumstances.
- payment is to be made half up-front, and half after the low-res finished product has been delivered. the same rules that apply to ordering customs apply to ordering commissions (where applicable).
- commissions ordered from me may be used to boost the initial price of a character.
- do not use my commissions or personal art if you dont own the character it was made for.
- do not use my art as "face-claims" or profile pictures if you dont own the character it was made for.
- you are allowed to apply your own watermarks to my artwork, so long as my signature is not removed and it is obvious that i was the original artist.
- please properly credit me. its ... not that hard. lol.

3. GLOBAL RULES

- i have the right to refuse any and all commission / custom orders if they do not fit my comfort levels or if i find the character to be too difficult to draw.
- i have the right to blacklist any individual for any reason, and not express it to the public.
- dont de-trans my designs.
- dont use my designs to promote s/xual a//ault or ch/ld p/rnography.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, GIFT / SELL / TRADE MY DESIGNS TO ANY OF THESE INDIVIDUALS. I KEEP ALL OF MY CHARACTER TRANSFERS READILY AVAILABLE IN ORDER TO KEEP THEM REGULATED, AND I WILL BLACKLIST YOU, TOO.
I DONT HAVE TO EXPLAIN MYSELF TO YOU. DONT ASK WHY PEOPLE ARE ON THIS LIST, BECAUSE ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO MY OWN COMFORT AND MENTAL SAFETY, AND IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT.
