*UPDATE* as of 1/10/24, LostStars has decided to pay me

so we could put this all behind us. This bulletin will remain up just incase, but,

as of 1/10, everything has been resolved.

hiya everyone! user LostStars scammed me by not paying for a custom (https://toyhou.se/22017555.wodjemmd) that i did for them.

they reached out to me offsite on Amino. they (https://aminoapps.com/c/cheapadopts/page/user/senko-san/BQBn_V00fbfzMB8D0djEnlPaKQrGN8rmnMZS1) reached out to me on Cheap Adopts and commented on my wall asking for a custom commission. i informed them that my commissions are $8 USD and they acknowledged that but offered $10 to, in their own words, "even it out".

they gave me the details of the custom and i got right to work, as i was free at the time and didn't have much to do. i sent them the work in progress and they approved it, which is when i asked for them to send the payment to a different person's cashapp (as LostStars was a voucher for me). not expecting an instant reply back, i continued working on the custom until it was finished. i waited around a day or so and messaged them again, never receiving a reply back. i left several messages including a heavily watermarked picture of the finished custom and still never got a reply back.

on another amino, specifically Coin Adopts (the purple one), a user (https://aminoapps.com/c/acadopts/page/user/oof/4qJ0_EMI5fJG576Qomgxn31zZPRw7PkxGKtL) interacted with me there and i realized it was the exact same person. after asking them if they were the same person, they never replied back and immediately blocked me.

as they had linked me their toyhouse, i commented on their page after they had blocked me on Amino. i commented on their page that they still owed me $10 and that blocking me on amino wouldn't do anything. they privately messaged me saying that they didn't have the $10.
