There isn't any actual suicide or ideation in here, but the circumstances-- setting up their own death as part of a killing game and recording messages for their loved ones in advance-- are similar enough that I'd advise caution if you may be upset by that.
Other than that, there are strong themes of self-sacrifice and self worth issues. but it's mostly just Shinji telling his friends he loves them haha
