Welcome to the official shop for Bysmalbats, where you can spend the species currency, copper coins, to purchase various Bat-related items. Copper coins are earned from completing prompts, which are hosted in the Bysmalbat Discord on a monthly basis.
Some items in this shop are available only in limited quantity. When the stock of an item reaches zero, it will be restocked at the start of the following month.
- Cannot be refunded.
- Do not expire.
- Are single-use only.
- Can be gifted or traded.
- Can be resold only for the same amount and same currency by which it was purchased.
ex. a 5CC item can be resold for 5CC. a $20 USD slot can be resold for $20 USD.
CC items cannot be sold for USD and vice versa.
Neither can be sold for higher than their original price.
Regarding inventory and cooldowns:
- A one-month (30 days) cooldown starts upon obtaining any item from the shop. Items can only be transferred when the cooldown has ended.
- A maximum of 3 unused MYO slots can be owned at a time. Preexisting slots must be used before acquiring additional slots.
- Only purchased items can be transferred.
- CC cannot be transferred to other users.
- You can immediately gift an item to another user within 24 hours of the initial purchase. The 30-day cooldown of the item would then apply to the new owner. This is only applicable to gifts, and only within the initial 24 hour period.
Purchases will be validated and added to the spreadsheet within 24 ~ 72hrs of purchase.

MASTERLIST CHANGE
This page is the hub for 1) logging changes of ownership for Bats and 2) submitting a new reference for a Bat. A new reference is not a redesign, but merely new art of the original design.
GIFTING | TRADING | SELLING
Bysmalbat designs or slots of any kind cannot be co-owned.
Vouchering a MYO slot, MYO design, or official design is not permitted.
Ownership changes must be logged on the masterlist change page, using the form below. Failing to log an exchange Bat/slot within 48hrs of transfer will result in a strike.
Ownership changes need to be manually verified by a mod before they can be considered official, at which point the masterlist will be edited with new ownership information.
PREMADE DESIGNS
MYO designs that were purchased can be resold, traded, or gifted.
- MYO designs can be initially valued at the MYO slot price.
- If you commissioned a design for your MYO, it can be initially valued at the slot price + the design price.
- If you designed your MYO yourself, you cannot add the design to the cost.
- Designs cannot be resold for an amount greater than they were purchased, unless it has extra commissioned art.
- Gifted or traded art cannot be added to the monetary value.
- Personal art also cannot be included in the monetary value.
MYO designs that were obtained via trade or gift can only be retraded or regifted, not resold.
- To clarify, this means gifted designs can be traded, traded designs can be gifted, and vice versa.
- If a MYO design that was traded for has new art commissioned by the current owner, the owner can include only the cost of the new commissions in a resale.
Official designs can be resold, traded, or gifted.
- Official designs can only be resold for the price they were purchased.
- Commissioned art can be added to the resell price.
- Personal, traded, or gifted art cannot be included in the resell price.

The cost of the MYO slot can only be factored into the MYO design's total price if the current owner purchased the slot with real money.
MYO slots can be resold, retraded, or gifted depending on how they were obtained.

REDESIGN APPROVAL
Submission of MYO redesigns is through here. Please follow the form given below when submitting your redesign!
REDESIGNING
Redesigns must be submitted for reapproval.
When redesigning, do not make edits to the original art unless you have permission from, or you are, the original artist.
A redesign cannot differ drastically from the original design.
Some edits to a design are permitted without the need to resubmit them.
Edits that do not need to be submitted:
- Change of clothes / wardrobe
- Alternate hairstyles (without changing the length permanently, ex. ponytail, braids)
- Alternate hair colors (without changing the color entirely, ex. color streaks, ombré, two tone)
- Gender presentation / body type
- Minor additions such as scars, tattoos, jewelry, etc.
Edits that need to be submitted for reapproval:
- Permanently changing hairstyle/color (ex. shortening, lengthening, changing color entirely)
- Eye/sclera color
- Color of anatomical traits (wings, tentacles, ears)
- Pattern of anatomical traits (wings, tentacles, ears)
- Size/length of anatomical traits (wings, tentacles, ears)
- Adding a trait that you have a ticket for
Prohibited Edits:
- Type of anatomical traits (ex. changing cat ears to bear ears, spiked tentacles to smooth tentacles, etc.)
- Wing clips
- Skin pattern
- Skin color
TAKING INSPIRATION
Do not take heavy inspiration from existing characters or designs, whether it is from other designers, a game, a movie, etc.
When taking inspiration from other religions or cultures, please conduct some degree of research in order to respectfully portray them.
Designs that display offensive or bigoted symbols/ideas will be summarily rejected.

MYO APPROVAL
Please follow the form given below when submitting your Bat for approval. Note that you may be asked to revise either your form or your design if information is missing, traits are incorrect, etc. Your message will be reviewed and responded to within 7 days of receipt. It can also take up to seven days to see your Bat on the masterlist. However, if your Bat has been accepted, you can use them freely.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA:
- Image background must be transparent.
- Design must have, at minimum, clean lineart (or clean lineless) and flat colors.
Slightly sketchy lines/coloring are OK, as long as the integrity of the design is apparent.
- Design must be full-body. Semi-chibi is allowed as long as traits are shown clearly.
- Please submit only one image of your design to be uploaded. The image should not have any text on it.
- ALL SPECIES TRAITS MUST BE VISIBLE. If a trait is obscured due to clothing or angle, please provide a separate reference in the same image.
- Please specify the type and material (if applicable) of tentacles.
ex. "false tentacles (bells on a string)", "false tentacles (plastic arrows)", "living creature (snakes)"
- If your Bat has a strange growth, please specify the type.
ex. "extra eyes", "mushrooms", etc.
- The animal ear type can either be specific or be left vague if desired.
ex. "axolotl", "tiger", "arctic fox" ears vs. "aquatic", "feline", "canine" ears, etc.
