art fight teams have been announced! I'd heard rumours about it being three teams and it's neat that this turned out to be true! it works too bc the site is so big now, this might make the final scores more interesting than they have been in recent years. no idea which team I want to be in right now, possibly tragedy because I like the colour,,,

I'm unable to make any more refs, icons or any themed profile decorations right now bc my tablet died on me and I'm waiting on the replacement to arrive ;_; what timing,,,, though I'm glad it didn't die before my uni deadlines, lol

hiiii there, been a while since I posted a bulletin on here but I've been feeling the urge to, so.

this year so far has been rough, if I'm being honest. I lost two guinea pigs, for one thing, one from a long illness that had me on a strict schedule for a few months, and another that was a complete shock to me and another few weeks of medicine/feedings like four times a day. I'm not even thinking about the money spent there, guh. for context also, I had four guinea pigs, two bonded pairs living in separate cages, and I lost one from each pair, meaning I also had to spend a while bonding the two I had left so that they could live together, one of whom I think is developing joint issues so that's more vet visits! aughghghggh

there were some other things going on that was stressing me out, but I believe that's all on the mend and I'm very thankful. my boyfriend, cammy, has been visiting for the last month and it's been a real joy, honestly. beside it just being plain fun, I feel like we've figured a lot out and hopefully the rest of the year is gonna be a whole lot more comfortable, at least within what we can control,,, will say, my mental state was certainly a lot worse than I realised at the time, so there's a lot that I should fix up now while I'm more clear headed. for example, I hadn't gone through my toyhouse notifications for over six months, I had nearly 5k images/character updates just stacking up,,, cleared that out now and hopefully I'll be able to keep up now, hue. I still need to sort through my FA notifications but that's a whole other deal, ough...

steering away from personal nonsense and onto art things, I've updated my ko-fi commissions to update examples, add more options and generally fix things up, as I'd like to get back on making stuff for people! I had a blast with art fight and it reminded me how much I enjoy that sort of thing,, I'll also be adding more things to my ko-fi shop, I have a bajillion adoptables I've made and then not done anything with because promoting myself is scary,, for now though, I've put up a dog base for a fiver in case anyone's curious, I made it ages and ages ago and again just did nothing with it, lmao. it's my first time doing that sort of thing so if there's any issues with it, please do message me and I'll try to fix it. 

one more note, a few personal goals of mine for the rest of the year is to finally put something up on caby.art, to continue working on my creative projects, both solo and with friends, and to get more lads on my tohouse up to 10+ images,,,
