A very cold and rather inhospitable place that's home to only a select few who are willing to brave the weather for their own personal reasons.

The North is a rocky, mountainous region pelted by fierce snowstorms all year round. Much of the area is unexplored, but there are rare plants and ores dotted around the mountains that go for high prices. In the distance an old derelict castle can be spotted, stretching far into the sky.
