why does he live rent free in my head
Miles is grateful for Spectre's guidance in training and racing, but thinks they could let loose and live life a little more enthusiastically. Doesn't hesitate to pester them with whatever questions and requests come to mind.
Spectre thinks Miles is awfully high-maintenance and an absolute pain in the ass, but nonetheless recognises his athletic talent. Deep down cares about him more than they would like to admit.
Thinks she's an impertinent child but entertains her when she offers to accompany him on dangerous trips. Although Schrodinger gets irritated by her easily, he can't help but look out for her.
Often plays at being Schrodinger's bodyguard, although Kanon is usually more of an annoyance than any real help. Kinda sees him like a big brother, perhaps because they're both Linehearts.
Miles wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice the world for Yards, she's his dear little sister and the only family he has left. He's like a completely different person when interacting with her, turning into a big sap of an older brother that is determined to dote on her in as many ways possible. Very protective over her and has an unfortunate habit of following her "covertly" when she goes out with her friends.
While she loves her brother, Yards doesn't like the way he constantly coddles her and often pretends she doesn't know him when out in public. She knows how much he's given for her sake and wants to become someone he can rely on.
Banter buddy. Isn't sure why Evie doesn't leave him alone but doesn't entirely dislike her presence. Their conversations are lively and full of snark but it's not annoying. They've recently started dating.
Banter buddy. Evie hangs around Edward a lot and enjoys conversation with him since he doesn't fail to shoot back with a witty remark. Wants him to break out of his "shell" more though. They've recently started dating.
Evie is one of the coolest people Grace knows and she is in awe of the way she carries herself. Often pesters her for attention because she knows she'll get it.
Precious, precious child. Evie loves Grace to pieces and doesn't hold back her affection, frequently peppering her with sweets and other little treats. Enjoys picking her up for hugs.
Leon is amazed by how much of a social butterfly Evie is. Tries not to involve himself with her too much, because he thinks she's probably plotting something weird at all times.
Rarely speaks to him, but is impressed by how gentle he can be for a jock. Would like to see him accidentally break a door one day.
Thomas fell in love with Jacob at first sight, but being unfamiliar with royal etiquette, he struggles with finding suitable ways of winning the prince over. Combined with his intimidating appearance, his attempts usually just wedge more misunderstandings between the two of them.
Jacob struggles to get a good read on Thomas. He never thought much about their relationship, having simply accepted the reality of being married off, but when it appears that the warlord is actually trying to court him, he doesn't know how to react.
Holds great feelings of bitterness towards Evie due to a spat they had a few years ago. Jessica does everything she can to make it obvious that she still hates her.
Used to be super friendly with her, but nowadays Evie mostly shuns Jessica's company. She opts to ignore her scathing remarks.
He steps carefully around the Falipsta. Blake doesn't like the attention Evie draws to herself so he tries his best to stay out of her way.
Evie finds Blake's innocence amusing but feels as though some of the others mess with him enough, so she holds back from making as many remarks when he's around. It's still very entertaining to watch him get flustered however.
Has a mad crush on Note. Kanon feels like the only way she can appeal to him is through displays of strength, so he's always on her mind when she's out slaying monsters. Doesn't want to show weakness in front of Note but gets very flustered looking at his face.
Under the impression they're already in a relationship. Note appreciates that Kanon has the patience to keep him company despite the communication barrier between them. Loves listening to stories of her adventures. Thinks she's super cute and loves how soft her hair is.
Micah has a hard time getting a read on Finley, he's never really sure how to interpret the guy's kindness. He is grateful however that Finley seems to be less impulsive than Tia.
Finley can easily see past Micah's grumpiness and has no trouble whatsoever talking to him. Having been pulled out of numerous tight spots by the Lineheart, Finley greatly appreciates that Micah puts up with his and Tia's antics.
Tia is always happy around Finley, she knows that he will always be willing to sit down and listen to her talk for hours upon end. She enjoys trying to find places that the other cat would find interesting to explore.
Always excited to hear about Tia's new discoveries, Finley is basically her biggest enabler. They're both curious cats and Finley gets a lot of joy out of making Tia smile.
Lian dearly loves Violet, she finds nothing more refreshing that being greeted by her girlfriend when she returns home from a hard graft of work. Understanding of Violet's physical limitations and really doesn't mind doing the legwork for their business.
Not a day passes when Violet doesn't find herself grateful for finding a partner in Lian. Although the other is quiet, Violet has no trouble picking up on her girlfriend's mood and thoughts and is happy to spend their days living quietly in each other's company.
Micah worries for Tia. He really worries for Tia. The Lineheart really can't see how the girl would fare living on her own and he's constantly fretting over her whenever they go travelling. It's a hassle keeping her away from danger but Micah admits it's fun being around her.
Quick to run to Micah for help, Tia sees him as the most reliable one in their friendship group. Even if he threatens to leave the group to their own devices during an expedition, she's firm in the belief that he'll always be there to help them.
Knows of "Saki" and "Mura". Nina is slightly suspicious of their presence in the school but doesn't really pay much attention to them.
Sakimura sees Nina as a very strong competitor in the game and respects her from a distance. Would prefer not to fight her.
Feels like getting involved with her would only lead to trouble in the future, so Scott tends not to interact with her often. However, he is grateful that she acts friendly with Michael and is in full encouragement of her trying to match the Weltamosas' level of stupid.
Hanging around Michael frequently, Evie certainly sees a lot of Scott, but she doesn't talk to the Tiempeure much, struggling to find common ground with him. Doesn't dislike him though.
Michael feels like he and Evie are on similar wavelengths. He loves messing around with her whenever he has the time. Acts pretty shamelessly around her, thinking there isn't any point trying to hide anything when she's a Falipsta.
Thinks Michael is an absolute riot to hang around. Evie is in awe of his lack of consideration for old customs and looks up to him to a certain extent. Loves his pranks and is the first to spread word about them whenever they happen.
Jacob keeps a wary eye on Evie but mostly let's her do as she pleases. This is partly because he lost a duel against her many years back - since then, Evie has been (and still is) the only one that can one-up him in physical combat. Doesn't appreciate her nosiness around his and Thomas' relationship.
While she tends to keep out of his way in school, Evie sees Jacob as a friendly rival of sorts. She admires his pride and stubbornness, but also enjoys seeing him struggle with his relationships with the other descendants. She sends him teasing texts every now and again but never gets a reply out of him.
Never really paying much attention to her until after he awakened his powers, Thomas was surprisingly quick to become friendly with her. He appreciates how open she is when talking about descendants and familial topics, and generally finds her a delight to be around. Tends to have trouble keeping his mouth shut around her however, leading to frequent bullying from Evie.
To Evie, Thomas is an individual who never fails to pique her curiosity. She was vaguely aware of his circumstances from the beginning, but never brought it up, wanting to wait and see what would happen when it finally came to light. Evie is more than happy to talk to him about familial matters since he brings such entertainment to her daily life.
Grace does her best to appeal to the more playful side of Edward's personality but tends not to realise that he's mostly putting up with her attention. Enjoys climbing onto his shoulder for no apparent reason.
She's small. She's small but Edward has trouble ignoring her because of her incredibly loud presence. Finds it incredibly inconvenient when she decides to hang off him like a tree, but it's too much effort to stop her from doing it.
From the moment he first saw Edward move on the basketball court, Leon has made it his mission to convince the Fortonnen to join the football team. He just can't turn a blind eye to the potential he sees in the guy.
Edward thinks that Leon is nice and all, but he didn't half wish that the guy would stop hounding him down when he needed an extra person for his PE activities. He's the only person that Edward will physically run away from because he can't deal with him.
The guy is tall and has brightly coloured hair, but Jessica does her best to ignore his presence anyway. She doesn't want to interact with him but doesn't fear him at all, never holding back her tongue even if he's in earshot.
Isn't keen on Jessica's company. Edward thinks that she talks way too much for him and isn't fond of overhearing the gossip she shares around.
Blake acts very warily around Edward, conscious of how the guy remembers everything that happens around him. Doesn't like being treated like an armrest though.
Edward knows Blake is a smart kid but he can't help treating the guy carefully like one of his younger siblings. The Eldutulid just seems so pure and innocent, he can't help himself.
Most of what Scott knows about Edward is what he's picked up from Michael's babbling about the guy. He wouldn't mind being in the same room at him at least.
Edward doesn't talk to Scott an awful lot. He knows the guy hangs around Michael a lot but that's practically a given anyway.
