medical story

this is a current work in progress story that i'm making for a (personal) horror visual novel! ^_^ i'm rather tentative on most of these characters, but still feel free to ask about them! this story is essentially set in the future and is about an optimistic mc who chooses to work as a nurse at a mental health hospital, because they personally struggled with some issues in the past and have been trying to help others. since it's in the future and because this hospital rather isolated, human nurses have been replaced with ai/computerised nurses that have been programmed by researchers. however, upon arriving at the hospital, the mc realises that they are the only human working there, and that there is very minimal technology for them to contact their family or anyone far away... and that the patients are a bit peculiar. 

roles:

--> mc: yet to be made

--> tomoe: love interest! she is one of the lead nurses and helps the mc around a lot :> she has a rather apathetic personality due to an error in her programming (and concerns the mc, who believes that all nurses should be empathetic and caring). her horror form is probably similar to something from madoka...

--> kaia: a side nurse! she's rather sweet and hands lollies to the children a lot. i imagine her horror form to be similar to alastor's from hazbin hotel (her deer horns normally appear like a headband accessory but when she transforms they become a part of her).

--> emmett: smiley patient who is really attached to the colour yellow. he's always in his raincoat and the nurses don't bother scolding him to make him take it off because once they turn their backs he'll be back in it again.

--> gao: little child patient who's really attached to her stuffed teddy bears. she acts really immature and naive but all the nurses know that she's faking it. 

--> patch . exe: the mailman who appears every once in a while to deliver letters... he's also an ai
