The spider hums, mandibles softly tapping and clicking with every gently crooned word. Though he pays no mind to it- or perhaps doesn't even notice- smaller spiders silently trail down from his suit, given the purpose of pursuing copies.

He turns momentarily, a book dangling inches away from his face held up by the thin webbing of several spiders. Gingerly taking the novel, he barely acknowledges the arachnids otherwise.
"...It could be viewed as a perspective into a troubled mind. Admittedly, that's part of my attraction to his writings. I quite like taking a peek into the minds of others, and seeing how they tick. His thoughts aren't so cut and dry, but I savor the challenge of dissecting."
Zal turns and places the book into your hands. A spider or two may or may not have snuck into your pocket, taking out the funds necessary to complete the purchase. If nothing else, he was efficient.
