i suppose this is a General Update bulletin? even though i have been MIA for ~2 years some of yall still remember me and ask me about commissions/art openings etc?!??? Which i am deeply and sincerely touched by because it really has been so long since i've been anything close to "Active". the fact some people remember me and still want to give me money for me to create you jpegs makes me VERY tender. i hope the jpegs ive created and unleashed into the internet are still sparking joy out there and i double hope to create and unleash more jpegs in the future.

sparknotes catchup:

• QUIT my psychological saw trap of a job
  • upside: got gud at painting while i was doing that (Wig)
  • downside: it wrung 90% of the joy of creation out of art for me and even though its been3 months since my last day, i still dont have it back (Woe)
  • downside 2: i forgot how to draw in my own personal style (Woe... 2)
• im going to change careers to something that isnt art <3 time for curry to use bandsaws and design Items
  • im doing a 3 month intensive where i will be very busy again (likelihood of art: Low)
  • i may also go back to school if the winds bring me that way (likelihood of art: Also Low)
• STILL obsessed with apollo and nier theyre still nr1 yeah (reason for 80% of what art i do make)

and now the incredibly concrete answer: Maybe....................

technically i am still doing commissions, but they are all for my beloved bestie jo. i'm also moving on a much slower scale than i ever have due to the sexy torture tornado of life business and burnout. i still have 2 in progress for her (BLOWING HER KISSES FOR BEING THE BEST).

anything i do going forward will be on a much smaller scale than before and likely also slower, which i really don't love, but it's how things are rn. back when comms were my main source of income i was very proud of how reliable my results + turnaround times were but i've lost a lot of that fiendish energy, so any openings will take that into account and probably have very low quantities. u can just Ask if there's something you want, but i will be very realistic on timeframes and my availability at all. i also promised the first spot in line once i'm done with jo's so again i'll just #BeReal #App #Slay with what you could expect.
