concept; the war witches are the third party, middle ground seperating humans and the other inhuman entities (angels, fae, demons etc), they're being torn apart by both sides- humans blame witches for disastorous magical occurences caused by the inhumans, the inhumans each have their own reason for attacking witches. (demons wish to plague and take over the human territory, angels wish to absorb humans into their race as a lesser branch, some just want to cause mischief.) Witches know that the contact between the two worlds will probably cause everything to get fucked over. others like elves, mers and weres just want peace, man
