Constellational

magical, girls and otherwise

setting
Exactly the same as our Earth up to 2015, when Magical Girls started appearing, then Magical Boys, then Magical Everybody Else. Each country has a set of magis with their own theme, then each magi with their own powers that frankly, most are either unable to control or make use of. The epitome of this problem is Lee - as the name Wildcard implies, his powers are seemingly random and possibly world-ending. He might as well help everybody else prevent a glitter-based apocolypse too.
Terminology
[ Magi ]

A gender neutral shortening of 'magical girl'. Fortunately lines up with the latin for mage or magician, but everybody in this universe has watched Sailor Moon so the first origin is much more appropriate.
[ Team International ]

An artifical team, the 'main' members being César, Marius, Antonio and Lee, though many other magis join throughout the story.
[ Bolded Attribute ]

A word in bold signifies a particular ability, typically named by the magi who wields it and therefore remains in their native language (or in whatever language they called it). Examples being Cassius' Apagón or Venus' Linfa Vitale.
[ Form ]

A measurement of how close one's magi form is to human limitations - namely if getting stabbed is a problem or not. Ex. César, as a physical form, can bleed or be rendered unconcious while Marius, metaphysical, can freely re-attach limbs and bounces if he's thrown against a wall. Physical magis still don't die, but need to wait to heal. Not all Metaphysical magis are invincible.
[ Doleurs ]

Monsters that are attracted to and feed on negative emotions. They can hurt humans and infect magis, and are only defeated with the latter's powers.
[ Managers ]

Non-magis who, for whatever reason (usually discovering a magis secret identity), are kept on the artifical teams to assist with finding and prioritising global disasters for the magis to stop. Spending so much time around them has changed their hair colour.
