While Adamaris was apprehensive about appointing someone to work at the archive while he is away, the workload is a lot to bear on his own. He wants to keep the library open for all to use in his absence as it would be cruel to dampen Dreamara’s access to knowledge. Butters was not fit for the job but this new hire has,,, potential.
While job hunting she noticed how this library is only run by one jinx, offering to lighten the load she starts to befriend the librarian in hopes of getting the job, she has a feeling that shes on the right path to obtaining the position.
Adamaris adopted butters as a young age to have as an apprentice for the library but overtime they consider them as a brother/family. Butters doesn’t seem keen to be stuck working in the library all the time but Adamaris is okay with them pursuing other passions.
Adamaris is Butter's buyer when he was being sold by a group that had kidnapped him. It took him awhile to get comfortable with Adamaris, but overtime started considering him as a big brother and helped out around the library. He didn't get what was so exciting about being surrounded by manuscripts and books and got bored easily, which Adamaris would seize by giving him little chores outside of the library. In doing so, Butters, the majority of the time, would come home empty handed with what Adamaris requested, but instead with little trinkets that he would gift his brother.
Adamaris appreciates when people follow the rules of the library. Usually they’d find someone staying past closing to be annoying but Adamaris appreciates the time they share.
Nektos positively adores Adamaris's library. They try to follow all the rules, but they do occasionally stay past closing time. Nektos admires Adamaris very much, and attempts to befriend him without being TOO annoying.
