This Au revolves around Eggie's journey on becoming human. After growing restless of his routinely life of being an indoor pet and companion to Rose and Dale, Eggie, the shape-shifting cat slime, decides its time to put his transformation abilities to the test. He leaves his secluded lifestyle at Rose's cottage to pursue a new life and a fresh start in the city. As he wonders aimlessly around new environments; admiring human civilization, Eggie stumbles upon a place called "The Calley" (or The Cat Alley). A spot where cat people alike can meet up and hang out.
From there Eggie meets his first ever human (-like) friend. A starting point that would change his life for the better and expand his knowledge on human customs and traditions.
