Once, in Godhome! I haven't beaten him normally yet, but I'm working on that in my replay file
Surprisingly the "hard" bosses like NKG and the Radiance weren't too hard for me, actually. I struggle more with the end-of-Pantheon bosses. I haven't gotten to Pure Vessel or Absolute Radiance though, I'm still attempting the Pantheon of the Sage. I can say with certainty that I don't like Godhome Uumuu and Zote though.
Tell me your secrets for NKG please. I've almost lost 200 times T_T
Oh yeah I haven't tried Uumuu in godhome but I've seen how hard it is. And Zote.

My tip for any boss you're struggling with is go into the fight not to win, but to learn attack patterns and strategies. I found NKG not too bad because he just has a selection of a few somewhat easy to avoid attacks (shade dash and sharp shadow were mandatory for me), they just come at you REALLY fast. As soon as you learn those attacks, how to avoid them and when to attack him, it gets a lot easier. Practise on Grimm's harder mode in Godhome for a bit if you want. If you can beat that (almost) hitless you're ready for NKG! It's a good starting point if you don't want to jump into the deep end
I found the second Pantheon easier actually, Oro and Mato are just a pain because there's two of them and first time I beat them I beat them with like. Two health. Sheo is a bit easier
